... Also if your looking for a low priced living with great sights South Carolina is a great place, not too long ago I was thinking about moving up there because of it but sadly don't have time to try to sell, move, switch jobs, etc.

I suggest moving to Ontario, Canada, to either Toronto or the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) for the most part, Toronto is a safe place, lots of down to earth people, not too much crime, free healthcare, everything is pretty well priced. Toronto is the most dangerous city of Ontario though (if you live in the ghetto areas), but the GTA is overall safe and pretty much the same as Toronto.

I've been to London already. It's very dull and far too busy. The epitome of dull, grey British atmosphere. What's worse is that the people are almost as dull as the culture.

They just got hit by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake in Christchurch actually, first major earthquake in many years - no casualties crazily enough, but a LOT of building damage.

I would really recommend New Zealand though Giv, not because I'm from there (a plus, I'm sure :) ), but because it has beautiful sunny beaches, great landscapes and scenery, the drinking, clubbing and smoking age is 18 (if you're in to that kind of thing), and it's just coming in to Summer now which is great. Avoid staying in the big smokey cities like Auckland, but I WOULD advise you to visit there at least once to experience the night life which is pretty freaking fun.

EDIT: Talk to Finn about it, he loves the place (with the exception of Auckland; it really is a shithole... Devonport is the only nice section of it).

Am I going to have to be the first honest post?

Without a complete education and alot of starter money there is no way you would be able to live anywhere in the U.S without someone there to help with payments, etc(a roommate basically)

That being said if you were to move anywhere, avoid any big cities (NY, LA) I would start in a small suburban area like Georgia. Not too crowded, not too empty.

Depends on your budget. Houses can range from 100k-50m.

I would recommend living in Santa Barbara.

Sorry if this seems a bit personal, but how much money do you have to spend on tickets and living? I live in New York City, and it is very hard to get a job unless you have some type of degree, let alone pay for housing, even with a job.
I have to be honest with you, I love New York and I think it is the best city in the world, but if you want to get as far away as possible from the gloominess of London and England, Sydney is definitely your best bet. It is the most beautiful city I have ever seen.
But before I plan out your life, I need to know what type of funds we're working with.

If you want a non-stress place Newfoundland, Canada. LOADS of job openings, very quite not many crimes. Free health care ;) Also beautiful scenery. If you really want to get away from everything Cormack newfoundland Canada. Where im originally from only about 200-300 people on the town if you want smaller Howley, Newfoundland. Want a bigger place? St.John's not as bad but closer to your jobs. Want an average place Paradise or Mount Pearl, These mostly consist of suburbs close to the two main citys for jobs Conception Bay South and St.Johns, But you may find a job within the town.

When the ocean rises due to global warming newfoundland will still be a floating :D

I live in New Zealand, and personally, I think it is the greatest country in the world.

    Reasons for moving:

    * New Zealand is a less crowded version of england with much nicer weather, and scenery.
    * If you're into Culture, their is no shortage of that in New Zealand, in my town alone there is 450+ different cultures.
    * If you're more into sporting, there is no limitations on sport in New Zealand. As the weather ranges from -5 to 30 degrees celcius, we have both summer and winter sports to choose from.
    * New Zealand is a very safe country to live in.
    * According to THIS WEBSITE New Zealand is the 5th best country in the world to live in.
    * A website about things to do in New Zealand can be found HERE
    * New Zealand has 4.2million people, which is enough to not get bored on, and not enough to make the place crowded :p
    * If you're sick of the Northern Hemisphere, New Zealand is about as far away as possible :p
    * Plenty of jobs avalible, with unemployment at 6.8% for the population, thats not bad at all seening as we've just been in a global recession.
    * Indoor / Outdoor jobs are plentiful, so it shouldn't be a problem finding work.
    * Plenty of things to do, as the beach if very close. We have some of the best beaches in the world (according to my dad), Snowy Mountains, and insane rivers etc, Tons of Clubs and other things like that :p

    Reasons against moving:

    * Average price from England to Auckland is 1000 Pounds.
    * If you regret the move, you're a long way from home.

^^^^ Thats all the negatives I can think of ^^^^

If you would like me to sell New Zealand to you anymore, just flick me a PM, or Message me on MSN.

I hope I helped, or atleast gave you something interesting to read.

The only thing about NZ is that if I went there I'd probably live with some family over in Christchurch... and that's not in the best shape right now. I think I'll count New Zealand out until they manage to fix any damage caused by the quake.

    I really suggest New Zealand.

It's a beautiful country. Lots of opportunities, very good education. Very 'green and clean' country. It's also quite low on population compared to other countries, with only 4 Million people living here, there's plenty of space and it's not cramped in the cities.

I'm not sure of the plane fares, but I've gotta' feeling they may be a tad expensive.

And I live in Christchurch, it's really not that bad... Trust me. On the news it may look bad, but they're only showing the bad bits. The majority of the city is living like normal now.

Yeh, from what I hear, Christchurch is rebuilding now, community is working together and getting back ontop. Its terrible what happened, but as Nz'ers, they'll pull through. Christchurch, and that part of the south island is a very nice place.

You should really consider the nice areas in the Bay Area and Orange County (it's a small area in So Cal).
Both are fairly exspensive however, :(.
