No it would be used in EXTREME cases, your opinion is not any more valuable than any of the other staff and the fact that you can say one word to trump everyone elses decision is complete and utter BS. If you were right you should have no issue getting two other admins to agree with you provided you have sound reasoning (which you never provide). I honestly think you are fighting this because it takes away power from you and not because its a bad idea or would have detrimental effects on the site.
Please sythe, stick to your guns on this. This is a great idea, the staff as a whole should be able to determine whether someone deserves to come back with the current support and no support system given they provide reasoning behind their decisions. If an admin feels the need to veto the rest of the staffs decisions they should be required to provide reasoning, if the reasoning is sound support should fall in tow. If not i dont think an non unanimous admin veto should hold more power than the general consensus of the rest of staff.

So according to your rules, a lot of the time mods can just put 'Support' or 'No Support' as it's pretty obvious and they're vote is worth considerably less than a veto.

Then it should be fine for 3 no? If they honestly deserve no vote it really shouldn't be an issue then!

Defensive defensive... everyone knows you hardly EVER provide any reasoning to your vetoes, i guess we are all blind. Dont get so defensive over this stuff, you are only asserting my point.

If you have no trouble getting other admins to veto then you shouldnt have an issue with the three admin veto. My point is you arent god, you should impose the power of veto before other people have given their support or not, other peoples opinions are JUST as valid as yours and the cumulative staffs opinion is MORE valid than yours because it has multiple points of view on the matters at hand. The more people in agreement on a matter is always going to leave the public with less questions on the validity of pardons or bans in general. Everyone wonders when theres a court case with a split jury about the outcome of the trial, theres a LOT less questions being asked when the verdict was unanimous.

    Obviously a veto "trumps" everything.

2 or 3 whatever either way is fine

You can tone down the screaming anytime you like. Anyways you aren't entitled to know why anyways, but if you really want to I can write you a few sentences as to why a veto occurred if it makes you happy.

I just think that if Staff are(required or not) posting reasons for their decision then admins should be posting a reason for the veto, get where I'm coming from?

    Screaming lol nice assumption.

OT the "you arent entitled to know" bs is a huge part of the problem everyone has with you and your vetoes. If people knew why you make your decisions they wouldnt appear so tyrannical, it would only benefit you and your appearance in the community.

It would be nice to see a few sentences relating to why a pardon is vetoed but I find any admin should be able to veto a pardon if they see fit, they only veto them when everyone knows its a waste of time such as growdie who's pardon would just sit there for 7 days with no support and be closed anyways.

Regular members have never been guarenteed ban reasons or explanation of any other decisions, its been like this for years.

Anything we veto wouldn't pass anyways so it cuts down on all this wasted staff time.

If one admin thinks the pardon should be vetoed you can probably assume that's the general consensus of the whole administration team. I doubt that admins disagree on pardons often. And if they do Sythe could always revert it if it was that controversial or he thought it needed another look. The veto's are always warranted if you ask me.

    ^this.

If an admin thinks that a veto was not warranted then they can always reopen it. the problem is i have only seen 2 admins post on the pardon threads(FiReZ)(N4n0). So asking for 3 or more would just be a waste since none of the admins ever post on pardons. so are we back to the whole "admins don't post enough" x339 bs?
