You're consistently missing the point, that I, @Superflous and others have made. It's your attitude, and for some reason, the inability to take on feedback in a correct manner, and lastly, to see how this thread will reel nothing positive.

It's not contradictory. @Superflous is saying he has no personal issues/gripe with you, but due to how you've conducted yourself, he wouldn't vote 'yes' on your re-application. It's valid and objective reasoning. You being our friend, for example, and then us voting 'yes' because you are our friend, would be making it personal.

Don’t you worry, I’m enjoying more than enough of real life outside of Sythe. As a matter of fact I’m here for the community and because I enjoy my time here, unlike the majority of users who are here for the money. There’s nothing wrong with having an opinion about certain matters, neither is it wrong to discuss them because last I checked the majority of users here live in a country where freedom of speech is a thing.

I don't personally have a grudge against you but I don't exactly think you're a great person either so my approach is coming from a neutral point of view. Although I don't ever see us getting along very well at all in the long term (no offence at all), I just feel that in certain cases you come across arrogant sometimes. I feel that you could be a little bit more open-minded and additionally, work on having civilized discussions with people (as in my opinion, it was never easy to have any kind of civilized discussion with you).

@Wortel I don't know much pertinent detail of this case. With that said, I can still observe. I see that you're odd ... in a good way. Especially on online forums, there's plenty of odd people. A different person may not have made this thread, for example. Perhaps they would have considered the other point of a view (a good behavior) and withheld their opinion and couched words in order to sway the staff into reassigning moderator status (not a good behavior, IMO). Unfortunately, socially different people are discriminated against. You're emotional, sure. Socially dependent, sure. We are all social and emotional beings. The thing is, as a member of a larger organization, the powers within that organization may act to subdue its constituents in order to maintain control. For example, police officers may be inundated with pro-department, pro-authority, etc. philosophy: Blue wall of silence - Wikipedia. If they stray from the mantra, they may be ostracized. I urge you to not regret your actions and voice but rather reflect. Maybe you're not ideal as a officer. Or a moderator, whatever. Walls of silence should be torn down. You speak your mind. Like this thread. @SellerMan has told himself, the community, and you that this thread will not benefit you. I do agree with SellerMan that this thread (and similar actions) may reduce probability that you'll be reassigned moderator status. But not if I was an administrator. I see this thread as a positive action. Reaching out to the community & reflecting on what you've done ... what the authorities have done ... and methods of improvement are beneficial behaviors from a community leader such as yourself. Of course, you could be more open and less argumentative with those who disagree (no shame here ... it's natural to be defensive, especially when you perceive attack and even more so when the offenders arrive without notice as in a blindside). We can all work on considering alternative perspectives. You seem to love online community (though it's good to see you to realize and hopefully incorporate the value of reaching further beyond electronic community). So, I suggest continuing your involvement with online communities such as Sythe. Perhaps it's best to reduce identification with Sythe staff, though. I agree with others that you should engage them on how to improve. If they aren't willing to work with you, then it'll be clear they don't want you on their team ... their loss. It seems you've provided this community so much they should be thankful for. They can take away some title or forum-functions of your account, but don't let them take away your pride and passion. From our setbacks we can learn and grow. Sometimes, it's best to move on.

An outside perspective isn't able to answer this question. Except for the people on staff while you were there, none of us really know any of the details.

Did you ask the rest of the team for help with that issue? If you haven't yet, it would likely still be beneficial to do so.

What do you think would solve that? Do you feel staff resources are lacking or how feedback is communicated? is the process for promoting/demoting staff not clearly outlined for those involved?

Again, that's one to bring up with staff.

Team dynamic is really important. My suggestion is that you work on your relation with the staff and all the reasons that were listed when you got demoted. The reasons behind your demotion being rude & abusing powers are less attractive qualities for a staff member. I have no clue if those statements are correct or not, but if they are and you haven't improved, you might not be the best candidate.

This is only based on some of the information provided so please don't take it the wrong way! You obviously have qualities or you wouldn't have had your position in the first place. Good luck mate! :)

You're not a very agreeable person from interactions I've had and seen. Hey not everyone is. BUT, you do work your ass off finding scammers/ban evaders and I respect you highly for that.

No one can say you don't work hard at making Sythe a better place everyday.

Take a staff member who works as hard as you do and have them also be extremely friendly and empathetic and you would be perfect .

Basically in any company you'd be one of the most valuable team members, ideally you just wouldn't interact directly with customers lol.

Also I don't mean this as a dig in any way. Some of the most powerful and world changing men in history weren't agreeable people.

I personally would like to see you a mod again in some manner. Just because you get things done, you relentlessly are going after ban evaders cleaning up the forum and I think that's what it needs most.
