It wont be, in the next few months. 70% of the LoL population is going to move onto DotA 2.

There's only a limited amount of people on Sythe that play LoL, all different timezones. I highly doubt you'll even get more than 2 teams for it, which makes it impractical.

Many players of LoL won't probably move on, LoL's more popular then dota / hon because it's free, that's the main reason it's the most popular, ever since HoN wen't free, it spiked up hard =/

The reason it's popular, is because people stopped playing DotA due to being sick of the warcraft 3 limitations of the game. So they all moved on to either LoL or HoN.

The whole HoN community is going to move on to DotA2, most of the LoL community is also.

Obviously I don't know this 100% but, most LoL players are originally Dota players, and will want to try dota 2 out.
