I recomend a ps3. Mainly because the internet is free, and it has a blue-ray player.

360 has more games, I like the controller, Live is alot more community friendly, people have mics, friends list. Downloads are better.

 

Xbox 360, Cheap.. Better games.

I can't be bothered typing out all the facts. But i had a PS3 (got stolen) and i'll be buying another one soon. All my friends have xbox360's, and yet i still think PS3's are better.

I have no reason to lie since i could go buy an xbox360 if i wanted, but instead i want to replace my ps3.

They only break if you are retarded. I know a few people who have broken their xbox's, and they are all retarded (not really, but still...). As long as you abide by basic console rules (don't drop it from 2 stories, don't throw your controller at it, don't shoot it with a water gun, don't leave it on for 2 weeks, etc.) you'll be fine.

Also, do most of your friends have xbox's? If they do, that's a pretty good reason to get one. Playing online with friends is my favorite thing to do.

 

2 of my friends have xbox's over 10 have ps3's. lol, pretty much all have ps3s.

 

Then getting a PS3 would be a good idea, assuming you want to play with your friends :idea:

If you need a headset for xbox, you buy a xbox headset, but if you need one for ps3, you can use ANY blutooth headset, whether it be a sony brand for the ps3 or one for a cell phone.

THE PS3'S BLU-RAY IS THE MOST ADVANCED AND BEST BLU-RAY PLAYTER ON THE MARKET.

The graphics and games are a hell of a lot better than XBOX 360, as the Blu-Ray discs allow a shitload more memory than Xbox 360 DVD games, and The PS3's Online is no better than Xbox 360's, but it's free, and you don't have to pay a hundred fucking dollars for wireless!

Seriously, though, it all depends on what you are looking for. Xbox 360 is based around socializing ((And the Halo series, of course ;3)), while the PS3 has a Blu Ray player and the graphics are slightly better. I duno, i would go for the 360 purely because i believe all console gaming should be based on socializing. Leave the hardcoar, unsociable gaming to PC gamers. ;D
