    No. "Secured" is when you change the email to the account to something similar to it, so that the old owner doesn't come back and get it right away. "Highly secured" is when you wait until the old email purges, create it, and then switch the email back to the old email. That is "highly secured" and this doesnt include passwords and PINs and such.

    In the event that you cannot remake an email after buying the account, the best practice is to move the pet to an account that you made or have highly secured, and let it sit for long enough where the trade history is no longer relevant.

    Your mindset is as someone who is extremely shady. Any trustworthy seller takes the time to do this, without cutting corners for a quick sale.

    The fact that you didn't speaks volumes.

    I understand that everyone cannot do this all the time, but for as long as you claimed to have had this pet, it was doable.

    Prior to sale, the email on the account was never discussed. I told you she could come on her original account that she was created on, and you purchased.

    I kept the email the same so as to not go in and make a ton of changes, and because it would be best for a buyer if the email wasn’t changed from the original, to mine, and then to the one they wanted. That’s sketchy to TNT.

    I’m not shady, I’ve just thoroughly read through how to trade and sell pets, therefore I am knowledgeable on it.

    When you insisted the pet was "highly secured," I trusted that you knew what you were doing. Apparently, not.

    You've had the pet for... 6 or 7 years, you said? Even two years is enough time to be able to space out changes.

    TNT doesnt give a shit about that, unless the changes are done from a new or foreign IP address, and all at once. You already said you transferred the pet to a random shell, TNT's suspicion didnt stop you from that drastic change?

    I already said it. You don't have to change the email to "your email"

    You change the email to an email "similar to then original."

    So if the original, non accessible email on the account is scammerssuck123 @ aol . com

    Then you change it to scammerssuck123 @ gmail . com

    Or something or other.

    And when the email purges you can give it some extra security by remaking that old email and sticking it back onto the account before selling it.

    Dude what? if you changed the email to something random that you didn’t have access to, then if someone happened to access the account they could just go create that email and reset pins etc. The person changing the email should always have access to said email. Hence why I kept it at the original for you, so that you could change it to your own, one that I wouldn’t know.
    I do know what I’m doing. I told you the pet could come on her originally account that she was MADE ON, probably ten years ago.

    I don’t care what you say beyond this, even if it paints me in the worst way possible, i’m wasting my energy going back and forth with you. I don’t need to defend myself here anymore when I know that I did nothing wrong.

    So you still arent getting the hint.

    You dont change the email to "something random". That is idiotic and I have a hard time believing that you think that is what I meant.

    Especially when you know that you must confirm all email changes, within the email you are changing to. How can one do that with a random email they dont own?

    You must create that email yourself and keep tabs on it. Spreadsheets are great for keeping track of things like that.

    So I will say it again. If the original email is "scammerssuck123 @ aol .com"

    Then you create and change the email to
    "scammerssuck123 @ gmail .com"

    Or some other email host.

    And then the part I previously said about added security.

    Trustworthy sellers do this, and they eventually obtain the original email as well.

    The seller is the best line of defense, and to own a pet as LONG as you claim and not have access to the original email is not "HIGHLY SECURED" and is in fact "EXTREMELY NEGLIGENT AND UNCARING ABOUT THE CUSTOMER'S SAFETY"

    You can try to B.S. yourself through this one all you want, but this is the safest and most secure way to stop any upsets, and the best way to protect your customer. Every good seller knows it, regardless of how many pets they've sold.

    Listen, all I want is my refund.

    You've done and caused so much B.S. for me, it isn't even funny. I've shown you time and time again that your methods are off, and yet you still argue with me. You've given multiple timelines, multiple explanations of your actions, and you have had multiple chances.

    If you give me my refund, and learn better practices, I will leave you alone. What you are doing is unfair to me, a paying customer, and I'm not sure of any way to prove it except to push this issue.

    So I will continue to push this issue until a resolution is reached. I don't care how long it takes, because at this point I have nothing left to lose except my temper.

    Taking a closer look at the screenshots that you've provided, I am going to go ahead and point out some discrepencies:

    You have claimed that you are in CST, which means that you are 2 hours ahead of Neopet's time (true timezone is PST).

    In the message you sent me, where you said you have emailed TNT, you sent that message to me at 2:58 pm. PST.
    You are in CST, so that would mean you emailed them (in your time) around 5 p.m. CST.
    So how was the time of your email at 9:56 p.m. CST? It seems that PST is on there, but your email is not the time you are claiming.

    Exhibit A: your message to me

    Exhibit B: Your email to support

    If it was almost 3 p.m. PST, and you are 2 hours ahead of PST, that would make it almost or exactly 5 p.m. CST
    NOT 9:56 p.m. CST. That is incredibly off. What's the deal?

    I'm sorry, but that makes absolutely no sense and I doubt the validity of your screenshots, now.
    It looks to me like you created new tickets, and doctored them up by either sending the emails at exact timelines, or editing them somehow.

    Unless of course, you lied about your timezone. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised with all the other lies you've told so far.

    You seem to have a knack for mixing up your timelines.

    To the Mod;

    The account is now unfrozen today. According to her suspicious screenshots, Neopets' support made it clear:

    They would only unfreeze the account if they recieve an email from the original email address.

    I went ahead and dug deeper to find the original email, and the email provider was confirmed by the seller earlier on, so I am confident I have the correct one. It is indeed in limbo.

    You cannot recreate it, nor can you sign into it. (Can provide more details about it all to a Mod through p.m.)

    Unfrozen Account
    (For one screenshot, I pulled the top tab of my phone down while taking screenshot for proof of date of screenshot. Second is normal screenshot. Both were taken within a few minutes of each other)

    Proof of Email Claims
    (One is trying to sign into email, next is trying to recreate email. This is to show proof that they are both in limbo, not in use and unable to be created. It has been censored for privacy and protection... don't ask me why I care at this point. Force of habit)

    I'm certain I've been scammed. The only valid reason that I can think that this seller would do this is:

    1)They thought I was new.

    2) They saw an opening in my trusting nature

    3) She thought she would not get caught due to her own high feedback count. She "has sold 20+ UCs with no issues."

    Please mods... I have tried my best to be my own saving grace. I tried to cover every base possible so as to make your job easier. It is a lot of reading- I am aware of this and I apologize for it.

    I am also well aware that even if action is taken, that I still may not get my refund. I paid through Paypal Friends & Family, which does not allow chargebacks.

    Something should still be done, refund aside. Scammers are no good, and if she was not scamming, she should still be aware of, and held accountable for her own alarming behavior and lies.

    Please reach out to her and require her to provide me a refund, or risk becoming DNT. None of this was my doing, and her scamming behavior is evident. I hope I've done a good enough job at making that clear.

    If there are any other actions that you wish for me to take, or there's any other information that you need, please reach out to me.

    I don’t know what to say. I have no idea how the account got unfrozen, Alice told me 2x in the screenshots I provided that she needs an email from the original email to unfreeze no exceptions, as I already told u and showed you and linked here, so I don’t get how your screenshotted proof of the purged email makes me a scammer... like I literally told you in our earlier messages that it couldn’t be recreated or accessed.

    You are not the first “new” person I’ve sold to, stop saying I was taking advantage of you.

    I’ve reported this thread to mods probably 10x now and still nothing. So, honestly yeah I hope you can get them to check it out.

    at this point if I had access to that account, I would just keep the faerie to myself and give the koi back to its original owner and refund you. but I don’t. and since you literally just admitted that you have knowledge of the original email, like you’ve been saying you don’t the whole time, i’m not too hopeful that you don’t have access now/haven’t had access this whole time.

    1.) I already told you that I am not new.

    2.) My screenshots show proof of the original email. Either you are lying and are faking this to salvage the sale and keep the money, or you are telling the truth and have nothing to do with this. Either way, I had nothing to do with this.

    3.) Me being able to obtain knowledge of the original email after the fact is none of your business, nor concern. I did not have knowledge of it beforehand. Even if I did, it wouldn't matter as the email is not obtainable, anyway.

    I have connections that I've utilized to help me figure this out. Shout out to them for sticking with me through this.

    It doesnt feel good when the evidence is mounted against you, and all you have is your word, now does it? This is exactly how you've made me feel the entire time, without giving you the benefit of the doubt.

    Dont play the victim now that you've been caught in your lies. Just give me my refund.

    YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE? like what?! nothing you’ve said this morning proves I am a “scammer”! I’m not sure if you’re trying to confuse the mods but NONE of this points to this to me scamming you at ALL lmao! Ugh really thanks for the update and i’ll definitely be interested to see where those pets end up from here but I don’t have access to them at all.

    Going back to my not entertaining this anymore no matter what you say about me/my character stance. Not sure why mods haven’t stepped in but definitely hoping they do soon. This update literally doesn’t prove anything about me being dishonest or scamming you. Goodbye.

    I have compiled lots of evidence, actually.

    Your screenshots are obviously bullshit for one. Alice didn't tell you that she could only unfreeze the account if emailed by the original email. If that was the case, the account wouldn't be unfrozen now. Because the email is unobtainable, which is why I've provided proof with my screenshots.

    You've mixed up your story and your timeline numerous times. Also provided with screenshots.

    You started outwardly accusing me of scamming you when I demanded a refund due to your negligent practices. I've proven your negligence with my words and experience, as well as screenshots to back up what I've said that you've done.

    You have been acting shady and aloof from the start of this entire thing. Instead of seeing that I had nothing to do with this, you are choosing to pull straws and play dumb.

    All I want is my refund. I'm not sure how or why you won't give it to me at this point. I've shown you time and time again that you're practices caused this, your behavior has been shady, and even with evidence mounted against you, you cannot see why I think you scammed me? I had nothing to do with this and lost sleep for days trying to make my case, because I AM OUT $125 NOW.

    Please tell me what else you need to know? You think I have this account? If your screenshots are real, HOW AM I EXACTLY GOING TO GET THIS ACCOUNT WITH A NON-VIABLE ORIGINAL EMAIL. Please ask yourself that and if you can figure it out let me know.

    Furthermore, if you are taking this as an attack on your character... you really need to try and see this from my point of view. I have to be bull-headed and pushy because I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED OUT OF MY MONEY. All of my suspicions are VIABLE.

    And you go ahead and keep tabs on your "cursed" neopet. I didn't take the partial refund and the neopet for this exact reason. I stood firm on a full refund BECAUSE IT WAS NOT A SAFE TRANSACTION FOR ME.
