    Explanation of the trade: I paid for a Neopet from this person. I was excited and paid them willingly, $125 through PayPal F&F. Delivery of the purchase was through the account information they provided to me to keep, where I was to eventually transfer the neopet to myself on one of my personal accounts after taking necessary precautions.

    How they scammed: I had not gotten into the account or even checked if the info was correct yet, and they messaged me frantically some days later asking me to transfer a different pet to them. One that they claimed had never even been on there before. They acted very suspicious and unprofessional, which set off red flags to me. I told them I haven't had time to even get into the account, but I didn't mind if they went in and did it themselves. They then claimed that they did not have access anymore, and within the hour claimed to have "gotten the account back for me" through support and they would send me the Neopet. I was not comfortable with this transaction anymore and asked for a full refund. After pressing them for a bit and trying to explain my side, they offered to give me a partial refund plus the pet, which I still refused as I had doubt about its origins at this point, as well as about their integrity and the history of the account in question. They mentioned that one of us must have been hacked on sythe, and again refused the full refund because I took the responsibility and risk when I bought the account. I told them I wanted a full refund again, as I had not even logged into the account with the pet, and asked them to provide proof of all of their claims. They proceeded to passively accuse me of scamming them, but I stood firm on a full refund. They ended the conversation by telling me that support reached out to them, this time to tell them that multiple people were trying to access the account at once, and that she had lost access completely. She has not provided proof to me of her claims, has not provided me a refund, but perhaps she will provide the necessary proof to you.

    Will be added in the following post and deleted for protection, lots of personal information. Since I do not have any trade feedback or a vouche thread of my own, I am opening my entire message and account history to the appropriate moderators and requesting that sythe mods do a full search of my account. I've never had any issues like this before, especially not with a semi-established seller. Not on this forum or any other forum.

    I said it before and I will just say it again.. the account was secured for years, then the day after you got the info, it was “hacked” and I was receiving spam emails from burner emails stating that I sucked and stole their account. I told you I can’t refund you because you know the name of the pet now, and I wouldn’t be able to resell her to anyone else because of that. I offered to send the pet to you and a partial refund because I understood it was a frustrating situation. I’ve sold 20+ UCs on here with no problem, and nothing like this has happened to me before.

    When I stated that I couldn’t get into the account, you instantly were like “oh gosh I hope the email wasn’t hacked...” suspicious you immediately said that. I told you I was messaging with Alice and could get her back, and you said to mail you when I had her so we could figure out a safe place to transfer, them backed out.

    I’ve been actively chatting with you, asking you where to send the pet (can’t anymore, now that she’s frozen) and responding to all your messages. How am I scamming? If I was scamming I would have just taken the money and left the site. I’d like to believe you that you had nothing to do with the account getting “hacked”, but at the end of the day we are strangers on the internet, and I know how many successful transactions I have had. Neopets is important to me and I know what it feels like to be burned, and I wouldn’t do that to another user. I have no way of knowing if you were just planning on claiming you were locked out and demanding a refund, like you did later.

    You painted me in a really bad light on this post and worded things in your favor. I’m not going to go back and forth with you on this anymore.

    (for those wondering, I was not willing to do a full refund of the wocky because since Seaset already knew the name of her, it wouldn’t be fair to resell her to another user. I offered the partial refund and to still send the wocky due to how bizarre it was that the account was “hacked”, to give seaset the benefit of the doubt, not out of an act of desperation to clear my name.)

    I can attach screenshots of Alice giving me access again with a prompt response, proving any access I had was blocked. I worked for a few hours to get possession of the account again to help YOU, only to have it taken over by someone else and Alice message me that “multiple people were claiming it was theirs and had the same info of me”. Anyways, that’s all I have to say on all that. We can let the mods take it from here.

    You were not helping "me" by getting access to an account that you improperly handled. You messaged ME about the account being compromised, as well as a reversed pet. You were not helping me, you were helping yourself.

    I asked you about the email because recreating an email to gain access to an account is something that happens in the cheating community. What I said is not suspicious, that is common sense.

    The fact that you "let the email go" (your own words) and "for my security" speaks volumes of how much you know about properly securing your merchandise.

    Unfortunately, I've been a victim of someone gaining access to my accounts through my own careless email upkeep. I've had people recreate emails, original or not, and steal my things. I already told you that, too. You'll say whatever you have to, to cover your tracks.

    Please, you can post your proof at any time. I've requested more than once that you do, and you stall. No one is stopping you.

I didn’t message you about the account being compromised.. you gave me the okay to log into it because I mentioned a reversal, to which I told you I couldn’t log in because I didn’t have access, to which you said you didn’t either, which prompted me to investigate further because you said “I have NOT been into the account, Im 1000% sure! Why would I lie to you about that??? o_O I really don't know what to say at this point except do whatever you gotta do. -_- if you let the email get purged there is a great possibility that someone else recreated it and sent in a ticket, or changed the password. I'm not really sure what's going on, but I have not been in the account at all :/”

    I don’t know how to submit screenshots here, but if the mods request it they’ll help me.

    I’m not going to interact with you anymore. this is a lot of back and forth, and the mods should handle it at this point.

    Create an imgur account and upload your screenshots as private. You can then upload them here, and delete the post if it has sensitive information attached to it. Mods can see deleted posts and review them.

    I have already uploaded our entire conversation and deleted it to protect both of our personal information, as well as pointed out the existence of our last conversation and opened up my entire account history for review.

    You know a lot about compromised emails, recreating emails, purged emails etc for someone who “never deals with this”. You and I are the only ones who had the information, and the day after I give it to you after it’s been secured for years this happens? The fact that I’m getting messages from a burner email telling me “you suck” and to “give me the account back”, and that Alice is stating multiple people are messaging her with the email history, tells me that there’s a lot going on here that’s out of my control.

    If you sent the mods our entire conversation, then they’ll have that, and I can send my emails with Alice and the messages from a burner email.

    I gave YOU the benefit of the doubt. I am the one who paid YOU. Stop twisting this around on me, please.

    For clarification, no I have never been scammed out of my hard earned cash before you, nope. However, I've had plenty of stuff taken from me. I've also been taught the ins and outs of proper neopets cheating, security, ethics and anything else to protect my assets and other parties, by and from the best. Unfortunately, you can't say the same and now we are in this situation. :)

    Please do that. I've been waiting for this, and it is all that I asked of you. I even offered that you send me your proof before I escalated, but you just keep talking the talk instead of walking the walk. Thanks

    I sent you this message: “i’m not sure if you’ve bought UCs before, but let me know if not because there are certain precautions you should follow. don’t transfer any pets right away. make note of the username, let her sit for a while while chatting with your main account, etc. do you have any questions? :)

    and a day later you confirmed you got her and were in love with her.

    I have securely sold 20+ UCs in the past two years.

    I confirmed that I got the message containing the account information, not that I "got the pet," and yes I very much did love her. Don't twist it up to fit your narrative and appeal to potential customers.

    I proceeded to tell you I planned on letting her sit for a long while, and that I wasn't new and have bought pets before, but appreciate any advice I can get.

    I went first. I paid F&F. I trusted you, and did not have time to get on the computer. You could have deduced from my sporadic replies during our entire interaction. You knew I was going through a tough time, you knew that I was trusting as I spilled my entire life story to you (after you baited me by telling me yours). And you thought I was a newb.

    There you go. First four photos, me messaging Alice from a previously existing ticket on a side account due to a lost pin, (hence her unusually fast response) to get access to the account again, since I couldn’t access it and Seaset claimed the same. I also posted on highway to help, hence the faster response as well. (I am CST, Neopets is PST)

    The last two photographs, I opened up a NEW ticket, because the account was being accessed at the same time as me after recovering it, information was being changed, AND I was receiving harassing emails from a burner. In these two, you’ll see that Alice closes the account because MULTIPLE PEOPLE were TRYING TO GET ACCESS AS WELL.

    That’s it, I’m done. I have nothing further to share or do. Mods, do with this as you need to.

    Mods: this account was sold a week ago. Doesn’t seem like a coincidence that as soon as I submit a ticket and make seaset aware that I did, someone else goes in and does the same ten minutes later. No way someone is sitting on it 24/7 monitoring any changes. Alice stated multiple people attempted to access it at once and submitting tickets, just so happening to be after I let seaset know I had access again and would send her the pet.

    Okay, let's make this clear.

    I get it, you have repeated it 8 times, you have sold 20 pets, you are so wonderful, please stop complimenting yourself. The fact that you have sold pets in the past, however, does not mean you will not do something shady today.

    You advertised this pet as BOTH "completely unknown" AND " pc safe." You then desperately needed to access it because of a trade reversal that placed another pet onto this account. You think this is a safe account to have ever sold a buyer? What kind of operation are you running where this is standard practice?
    So. I will reiterate, I never accessed the account. You can choose to believe what you want. My knowledge of how purged emails and the like work has zero relevance. It is connected to a completely separate situation with a personal account I have owned for over a year that was purchased on a totally different website. You're simply attempting to smear my name by implying I have done something wrong when I have done nothing but have my money stolen.

    Furthermore, you didn't already possess the PIN for the account when you sold it to me... you had to email support for it? This was alleged to be an account that you "owned for years." If you owned it for years, why did you not also own the email?

    I would have accepted your prior offer of the pet and a partial refund if I thought it was safe. Clearly it wasn't, as the pet is now frozen. Honestly, I don't know what to do here, but none of this is my doing. I did not access the account. I did not cause the trade reversal to it. I didn't create any emails, despite your wild accusations.

    I'm the one here with nothing, and you're calling me the scammer?

    I'm pretty puzzled.

    Please refund me, and we will never have to cross paths again.

    i’m not complimenting myself, and i’m not attempting to smear your name. may I remind you who made this whole post..?

    my message to you:
    “She is PC safe but she hasn’t been floating around for a while. Her name format is Xxxxxxx. It’s pronounceable and feminine and honestly one of the top three best names I’ve seen in a while, up there with Xxxxx.

    But yeah, her name is lovely and she comes on her original account. She was on it secured for years.”

    She was temporarily transferred to a shell for selling purposes, and then I sent her back to the account you were sold, where she had been originally created and sat for probably 10 years, so that you could just fully access and fake an adoption. She is PC safe as she had a newly aged petpet, safe original account, and and userlookup.

    I forgot the pin once, because I am a human who forgets things, and I emailed support and resolved it. This was a while ago. Hence pre existing ticket woth Alice. that’s a pretty pointless argument to bring in here.

    The pet is only frozen, because as you can see in Alices email, multiple people were trying to hack the account. It was never about the pet being unsafe, it was about people trying to take the account over. My accusations aren’t wild when Alice is literally telling me multiple people are also mailing her like what?
