    Same laws throught the universe?

    Are you retarded? No shit. Obviously light goes slower through different mediums but it is still a constant that most believe can't change. Google varying speed of light and then respond. We're talking about two completely different things.


    Oh, sorry about the harsh tone to this post. I actually don't care lol. I love everyone.

    Don't you see the contradiction in your post? They change that constant by sending it through different mediums. If it changes, it's not constant.

    If you mean varying speeds in a vacuum, then no, I don't think that speed changes in other areas of the universe.

    The "universal gravity" you have stated is a constant rather than a formula.

    Anyway, the laws of physics will not change, but calculations will change depending on the location where you measure them (if that's what you meant). The "laws of physics" would only ever vary in the case of a theory being completely wrong (which is also highly improbable).

    I'm pretty sure the "speed of light" (ie 3 x 10^8 m/s) is measured assuming a vacuum and standard lab conditions. Therefore the speed of light really is dependent on the medium through which it travels.

    Also, not disagreeing with your post, just adding to it :).
