Runescape gambling addiction.

yea man, I have spent $2657 total gambling! The way i look at it is i don't smoke, i don't drink much, i don't own a car, my college is paid off, and lastly no girlfriend. I am infant addicted, but i currently have cut of all gambling and stay away from the duel arena. I'm currently trying to peruse my career irl, and will have a good paying job $40kUSD minimum in the next few months. People gamble what i lost in the past 3 years in a day, so im not to worried, but i know i need to stop now before it starts to be a real habit. the funny thing is i hate casinos and losing money so ill slowly stop this habit over time. A pack of cigarettes is on AVG $4.35 per pack if you smoked a pack a week, that's $266 a year. Now most people smoke a lot more but that's just to show you its not that bad. I currently have deleted all accounts and asked my PA account to be suspended.

I realized this thread is over 3 years old, but i think this is a very relevant topic that can help many people as myself.

You spent $2657 on gambling in runescape lol?!?! Why didn't you just gamble in real life then, and actually earn real money. Yes you REALLY should stay away from the duel arena. Obviously you don't know when to stop, and clearly you weren't very good at it either lol! So this is why people buy gold so much, to gamble! I never knew that lol, so stakers are the ones who buy high amounts of gold. if you just that $2300 on gp and not staked you'd have everything you ever wanted in the game and there would be no point in staking lol. I agree gambling can be addicting as HELL, it gives a high in itself, a adreneline rush. It's fun as hell. You just need to know when to STOP though. Obviusly you were never a successful staker like many, and you never knew your limit. I realize this is runescape 3 forum though, runescape 3 is garbage. I can't believe people play ruinscape 3. It's beyond me that you spent real life money on rs 3 too. Come to 07, the REAL runescape

 

If you can't handle yourself, just get outside or something lol. There is no need to have a gambling addiction on a game.
