i have a social life outside of my house, when i get into gaming mode though im in the fucking zone.. i dont play pc games anymore, just xbl.. legit 10th prestige+ i jtag for ppl... fail on my part.

As much as I hate new RS I can't really seem to stay away from it for very long. I've "quit" several times and everytime I've returned. I don't really mind though cause I don't play no where near as much as I use to.

 

Yup runescape ruined my teenage years.. sorta/ Started playing at around 10th grade and ended about this summer (doing 12th grade right now). But as i think back at it, i had alot of fun times in runescape that i wish i could play again but if i try play again it doesn't feel the same, so i gave my account away. All i do is play cod. currently 5th prestige, and kick it with friends of course.

 

I've quit and come back to Runescape several times.. tried selling my account but after about 6 months I just come back and make a new one.

I'm a pretty big gamer I guess, I'm always on my PS3 and/or Runescape while I'm at home but I also have a job getting around 18 hours during the school week so it's not like I'm on all the time. Even though I love being on whatever I'm playing I'm still always talkin to friends and trying to find something to get into during the weekend or after school so I guess I'm not too addicted.

 

i've quit 14 times and been playing since i was 10. now im 15. and i play for an hour or so but thats it. i just play COD now. currently lvl 70 3rd perstiege bout to perstiege again .

 

Sounds ALOT like my story, except I quit 9th grade and just bot and pk now. Life is so much better, got all my friends back, got the girls , and got cool again =D. I also rejoined all the sports i quit and am making all A's in school (even taking college classes =) ).

 

...i regret nothing ^.^ before runescape, i was bored as hell all the time. People+me= someone getting hurt. I hate real connection to people most of the time and the people that i do get along with, are just like me and arn't social either. Just cuz someone plays rs over getting annoyed of people doesn't mean they no life. It means they do what makes them happy instead of forcing themselves to do what everyone seems to think they should do. Hell, I still make all good grades, got a girl of my own, and got a handfull of the best friends a guy could ask for. I'm not gonna be runnin the 5k or whatever any time soon but I can still kick someones ass pretty easy if someone were dumb enough to pick a fight with me. I can thank guitar for most of the muscle I got. Dragonforce ftw.

 

people don't realize that half of communication, is visual, you lose all your social skills. I guess im lucky i play runescape a bit yet i still am social enough to have a girl friend who is one of the few athletic girls in 7th grade :|

 

We would never spend our teenager life on training those noob skills(actually its clicking mouse) and still have normal social life with no regret in retrospect, if Jagex really care about us -.-

uhh. i play runescape a lot. sometimes up to 20 hours a day. i smoke a lot of pot. i don't have many friends. i mean, i have a job and everything but other than that runescape takes up most of my time. i got kicked out of school so i am able to play for long hours. i have a job and everything so idk. theres more to it than that but whatev

 

Before RS.

I played PS2, yugioh was the "thing" because everyone at my school had a deck(5th grade). I also just moved so it was pretty epic, I met a lot of friends. But by the next year the yugioh thing cooled down and not many people played so I put away my cards. Soon this guy told me about RS and I started playing.

During RS.

I wasn't quite addicted but since I have always played games nothing really changed. Then we graduated to a new school at 7th, now RS was the thing. Everyone played it, crazy. 5k was a lot to these nubs. Since I've been playing for 2 years I had decent cash 3m lol. I hang out with almost all kinds of people except emos and goths :\. So once in a while me and 10 people from school would go kill monsters and etc. Was fun while it lasted.

After RS.

Well once I moved I really didn't want to play because no one at my new school was interested and someone from my old school stole my main. Then my bestfriend called and asked me to play again and become a member, I did. I still play with him, but we barely get on 2 hours a day. I just mainly bot/pk now.

I didn't lose my popularity or get into drugs, so I'm pretty much the same. Except less of a tan lulz.
