Require to include RSN in the PM confirmation

Just like a middleman is required to, because some improperly send private message confirmations give the fake feeling of safety to the customer.
If the RSN was included the customer would know only to trade that specific RSN and no other.
Also it only takes a few seconds to write it in the PM, it's not time consuming or anything and it would help to prevent man in the middle scams etc.

(would also work for btc address, paypal address,...)

 

I believe you could enforce this as well as not allowing people to put "trusted" in their thread titles.

Many people are scammed because they don't read the PMs, even though people include the Skype convo in it. Just recently, someone was scammed by a fake Probemas with a real Probemas PM, but the impostor said "I changed your skype name to remember you better."

tl;dr people can read PMs, there's always enough proof to determine if the PM is legit or not, people are just lazy/not cautious.

 

In theory this would be great, in reality not so much. People dont read the PM's.

They glance at them and thats the problem. I saw a report earlier with a pm that said:
"My skype is XXXX"
"Your skype is XXXXX"

But the "your skype" wasn't actually his skype, completely avoidable if he actually read the PM. The best the Sythe staff can do is offer guidance/guidelines, it's up to the members to follow them or not.

 

Putting your RSN in the message is only required for OMM's. This is a free market, I don't think forcing people to send a PM in the first place will go through let alone having to put a specific template in it. No support.

 

I suggested that when they do send the PM confirmation they add the RSN(as additional info), not that they must send the PM.


And yes well it's true that most people don't even read the PMs and it's their fault.. I can't understand this but oh well

Putting the rsn or any other info in the pm won't change that, because the reason they are happening in the first place is that people don't read or send proper pm's.

Just wanted to say that for RS trades this is a requirement for OMMs, they must include their RSN.

If you find an OMM not doing so, report it to me ASAP
