People should be free to speak their minds no matter how fucked up and ignorant their opinions are.

 

Fuck, that's fucking racist. It's not acceptable at all.

 

I agree, however, when it comes to the point that your putting these ideas into young, impressionable children's minds, its a disturbance. It's no longer simply speech.

A loud noise disturbance is a crime, why wouldn't yelling racist things on a public bus be any better?

 

People are allowed to tell their children god exists. I feel that is exactly the same as telling them black people are inferior or whatnot. Parents have sway over their children and that isn't going away, ever. Whether or not it was a disturbance is up to the law to decide but I would not like it if she only got arrested for the content of her message, not the disturbance of the noise she was making.

 

That's just ignorance, bottom line,

Everyone is entitled to Freedom of Speech, but I wouldn't consider this FoS. This is just rude... I believe there is an actual term for this(Some law that says what she did is illegal), but it has slipped my mind:S.

That woman is so sick in the head.. I feel bad for the baby that is going to be raised in that household and most likely adopt the same views and opinions about black people that her mother has. It is amazing that even today in modern society, racism is still very much an incredibly huge issue that affects millions of people. I just don't understand why it is so hard for some people that there are other people out there who are different, have different skin colours, different cultures and traditions, etc, and what makes these people think that they are the majority?

You would not like to see her arrested for the content of her message? Please tell me you are joking... The content of her message was putrid and incited hate, It's public disorder and breach of the peace. The right decision was made, people like this should not be able to shout out in public about how much they hate people from other ethnicities.

This is one of the many reasons people act the way they do today, the less of this there is in the world the better, you cannot argue with that. Don't come back with any of your freedom of speech bullshit because this has nothing to do with that, this has to do with morales, society and public disorder.
