uh, wouldn't this be a better question for someone who actually believes in a God? Like Christians, or Jews?
WHO can show me some evidence of how a god exist?
lol
I think all the things depend on your faith .

Denominations, yes, I feel dumb for forgetting the term. Anyways, I've never understood how different denominations can have such differant interpretations. As it seems some of them are quite differant and would make a large differance in the afterlife or life on earth. The first that comes to my mind is the Babtist belief that you CAN'T fall away from faith (once saved your in so to speak) and the Methodist belief that you CAN fall away from faith. I mean under this very differant beliefs I'm going to heaven if I'm Babtist and hell if I'm Methodist. Others involve the Catholic idea of Purgatory, and some churchs/individuals (not sure if it applies to a specific denomination) who believe that all religion leads to the same place (sugar coated view if you will). Then the other group believing that only their Belief is right and ALL other religions lead to hell, even people who never have a chance to hear the word go to hell. Once again, very big differances within a religion.
As far as my church going friends, I can think of 3 that actually ask questions and really try to make sense of things. The rest honestly have no depth to their belief. I've asked the simple question "Why are you a Christian?" countless times and I always get some overused crap that involves no thinking. When I try to explain the logic against what they are thinking they just get offended and tell me i'm going to hell, BUT still they have no argument and no legit reason for their beliefs. I am from the Bible Belt of Alabama, so blind followers are in abundance. To say your an athiest or even a believer of some other religion here is grounds for being excluded from a lot of things.
Quick story to sort of show you the kinds of christians you'll find where I live.
When I finally openly declared my athiesm I lost quite a few "friends" simply because they think athiesm is "of the devil" or something. I hadn't gone to my church for over a year and it had been 3 or 4 months since people knew my beliefs. One day I decided to go back to my old church, just to see some old "friends". I was expecting a warm welcome back, etc, etc. Instead I was greated with hostility and questions like "Why are you even here?" At the end of the session, I was told by our YOUTH LEADER, that I shouldn't come back because he didn't want me "poisoning" the beliefs of the other people in the group...
Edit: I'm at school right now, I've got a list at home of those religions. I'll get them to you tonight if I think about it.

Many of you ask how a god cannot exist, but can you please show me some evidence of how a god cannot exist?
Thank you.
you jsut tryed to prove both sides wrong mostly your side, we have theroy. and god hasnt showed existance so there is no proof he existed/s
man is sinful... yet everything u claim 2 no about 'god' comes fro the bible, witch was written by man? does any1 else c a problem with that?
the problem of evil all i have got to say
i agree i dont belive god is real, and a song the express egcalty how i feel is the song "dear god by xtc"
my favorite quete is
"did u create mankind after we made you?"
You just made no sense. The horrible grammar bring all Creationists to a bad start along with the question. Many of you ask how a god cannot exist, but can you please show me some evidence of how a god cannot exist?
Thank you.

Things that do not exist do not produce evidence of their non-existence. For example, there is no evidence that I wasn't molested as a child, so should it be taken as an unknown?
This seems to be a good topic for SFA. Moved, etc.
The universe isn't constructed so perfectly, as you so eloquently describe it. 99.99% of the entire universe consists of big, dead, clumps of rock, floating the space eternally with no purpose whatsoever. When you deny anything we say as to what can you say about this? and you say "oh there acting" or its exaggerated something like that ect. there is no valuable proof, but the thing is, what would the universe be constructed so perfectly? everything just happened by chance. A theory could mean nothing at times, you say, "we have theroy" like your all high and mighty and that you believe there is no after life, and science must be right ect.,
The same question could I ask you, what if YOUR religion is wrong, and one of the hundreds of other religions out there is the right one, what happens then? You'll be burning in the fiery pits of Hell for all eternity, together with us arrogant Atheists, and we could continue the religious debate down there, where both sides would be screaming through the excruciating, atrocious suffering across the gateways; "I TOLD YOU SO!"imnotcrazy357 said:but what happens if your wrong? it takes science many tries to get something write, such as an invention or something, what if this is one of those many times science is wrong, what happens then?
Another vital clue that leads us to believe that the Bible was written by man, and not by man through a god, is the massive amount of contradictions in the Bible. There's not enough space in one post for me to post them here, but I can sure as evolution provide you with a bonafide link: http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/jim_meritt/bible-contradictions.html - it contains an astonishing 508 indisputable contradictions, crushing the remaining validity of the Bible to atoms. If you don't believe those contradictions are true, then look them up in any Bible and see for yourself.imnotcrazy357 said:If you believe the Bible, then you believe it is the Divine Word of God, and that it was not written by man, but by God, through man.
Well thats exactly it though. Still doesn't say there isn't a god. there is evidence but being fighting a one sided argument is like being a one legged skater your not going to get any where the most you can do is spin around in the same shit over and over.Shredder pretty much gave the best argument possible.Things that do not exist do not produce evidence of their non-existence.
If it doesn't exist how can there be evidence of its non-existence?
