    Question for Atheists

Have you ever heard of a chi square? Scientists use it to determine whether or not the results of their experiment were affected by unknowns. It determines how close to your expected results your actual observed results are. If the number comes out high enough(less than a 5% chance) then it is assumed that there was an unaccounted for force acting on the experiment. However, it is perfectly possible for a perfect experiment to turn out a bad chi square number- that's the beauty of chance. So, basically, God has less than a 5% chance of existing, BUT that does not actually disprove his existence.

    Question for Atheists

Anything is 'logically' possible. It's 'logically' possible that there exists a pink unicorn breed somewhere 100000 billion miles away that does not need oxygen to live. We know too little to say what is logically impossible at this point; I doubt there will ever be enough evidence to say so.

Just for the record, I still agree.

    Question for Atheists

    Ok, you're banned but anyway..

Can you prove that god DOES exist? And don't say "look around you".

    Anyway, think of this;

You cant think of no up, no down, no left, no right, no light, no dark, nothing.

So, you cant have nothing exist, something HAS to exist. And the universe has probably been around since never - for all we know, it could be a dream. Then we wake up, never to remember it.

Meh, i dont make sense XD

No offence, but, just because you cant comprehend something, doesn't mean it isn't possiable.

I said that it doesn't mean that, not that it wasn't possiable to find something logically impossible, I just said that you can't disprove anything because you can't understand it.

The God theists believe in is not bound by logic.

    Question for Atheists

I fully understand that. Yet, think of a God who is omnipotent. Is not such a God logically impossible, for it cannot limit its own power?

    Question for Atheists

An omnipotent being would not be restricted by logic.
Power with no limits can not, by definition, be limited by logic.

    Question for Atheists

It is 110% logically impossible. However, God is God, and he himself is not logical. Logics is based on taming and understanding the physical, not the spiritual. I know, this provides little room for argument, but Im really tired of arguing. So, take it as you will, it's your choice.

    Question for Atheists

If God is omnipotent, and beyond logic, then you cannot assert that he exists, for this would be a limiting factor. What, then, is the use of debating his existence? By engaging in a debate you accept that reality and reason are absolute, but if you say that they are not, then you contradict yourself.

    Question for Atheists

There is no point in debating his existence. The God theists believe in exists outside of our concept of reality.

Then they are irrational, and we should not engage them in debate. Debate, and the attention that their side receives following it, is crucial to keeping a particular viewpoint alive and thriving.

I agree. They are irrational, and should not be engaged in debate. Why, then, are you debating them on this thread?

    Question for Atheists

It is possible to point out the flaws in their arguments. After they have been pointed out, if they still deny my conclusion that God does not exist, then at that point, it is pointless to debate them.

    Question for Atheists

No, it isn't possible, there are none. You cannot express God through logic. As I've said in other threads, God made reality, he is above it and you cannot comprehend it.

I know you think this sounds crazy, because from where you stand, it's utterly rediculous, but from where I stand, yours is as well. In this, it is already pointless to debate, because it isnt debatable in the first place. We have contradictory views. Therefore, if we debate, we see thousands of flaws with each other. Over and over, neither of us change our opinion, so flaws always exist.

    Question for Atheists

"God exists, but he is wholly incomprehensible, and does not cohere to any standards of reason."

That is essentially your argument. What relevance does God hold in our lives, then? To interact with reality, you must be partially rational. You cannot be an abstract that evades any type of definition.

Also, what reason do you have to believe in God in the first place?
