Can I put I Bleed Duke Blue On the table? He wasent a friend but I always thought he deserved to be here.

he was a mod that if I recall came clean and admitted to evasion of his original(scamming) ban of like $10 or something?

I cant find the actual thread, and the details are fuzzy, but considering his obvious sincerity, professionalism, and the fact he just seems like a good guy, I'd like to at least put his name on the table, if he doesn't qualify I understand.

He also was an active poster and active in a lot of sections if I recall right?

He also wasent a market user so the market ban wouldn't be an issue to him hopefully.

 

He has had a few other problems aswell that I don't think are public but he can be up for consideration for sure once were dealing with less drama related bans

 

I'm going to leave off anyone specifically only banned for actually scamming with nothing else (drama) involved. If @Sythe OK's it I'll start listing other people for other reasons like this as well.

 

So when are we deleting the Request a Pardon section?

 

why was finn banned? after google searching/looking through archives all I found was Sythe clearing up allegations made agains Finn.

 

The system I proposed to sythe would actually add a second pardon system for market banned users specifically, things are a little hectic currently but I'm sure if theres anyone on the planet who can take an idea and refine a system around it, its sythe.

The market ban pardon system I proposed is on the other thread by the way if u want to read it, I wrote it in 5-10 minutes so its very rough and not specific/refined but its perhaps a general guideline.

It will at least hopefully help provoke other systems/ideas by others at the very least(hopefully).

 

Preferably we're not. I'm on your "side" of this debate but I'm basically defering people requests that don't belong on this thread. In the end if Sythe decides to unban people with outstanding debts or scammers or whatever I don't have a say in that.

 

It would be pointless since apparently Grave can edit anyone's name into OP and they'll be unbanned regardless of what they actually did, the pardon system is now more or less useless was my entire point in that post

 

For fuck's sake please leave the discussions/arguing/suggestions to the other thread.

I'm adding people's names that are posted, and I'm putting the reason, if there's evidence, if there's not, etc. It's the best I can do since I don't know of every single specific situation. If I see it to not be that much drama related or make other observations, I add warnings to check the thread for more investigation for investigate further. It's not like I'm just randomly listing everyone I want unbanned. There's already been someone who was denied because of the notes I added, so it's not like everyone is willy nilly getting unbanned by Sythe.

 

I'm sorry to say it but I believe the pardon system was already pointless, Staff may disagree and I don't want any trouble by any means but frankly the pardon system was a system where u apologized for ur actions in a thread, and repeated until unbanned, whether that took 1 try or 5 seemed to be up to staff's mood.

I don't want to see the pardon system abolished, but I think over the next few weeks it should hopefully be heavily modified to benefit the SITE itself.

Things are going to happen and I hope everyone feels their for the better, the thing at the top of my list is to hopefully speak directly with Sythe and abolish some of the more overkill rules and try to ease back on some of the iron clad strictness in which their enforced, the market and the community needs to be allowed to cope at a safe level and be able to grow without logging into a ban for saying something improper about someone or saying the wrong thing.


I don't agree with a lot of what happens on H_F but I do agree that Omni had the right idea, the only way for a forum to truly function properly that's a marketplace and a community is to allow the forum to flow through its various stages unhindered by iron clad restrictions.

I'm not talking about letting mass scammers and hackers and other things off the hook, but there definitely needs to be some restrictions lifted off this forum or its going to die, sythe recognized this and took action to turn the tide.

I'm not reading all of this but I just skimmed through it and HF is a joke and Omni is just money hungry as fuck, their community and website as I said earlier are a crotch stain on the internet and they shouldn't be referenced or be used as any sort of an example in any way

 

@FiveBots was just a dumb kid at the time of his actions. Does he deserve to get unbanned? Yeah. Will he? Probably not lol.

If we are removing bans on the stipulation of a market ban, someone that should be considered is: Finally_Found_Freedom

I haven't talked to him for quite some time, but I know he wanted to come back for just the community and no longer cared for the market.
