JRSmithfan1 Scammed me 600m - Dave confirmed that his account was hacked on the report itself. Anecdotal, but I can also vouch for his character, he just couldn't / can't afford to pay back what a hacker scammed on his account (and doesn't feel like he should be held accountable since he believes it was a DB leak that got his account hacked).

He was hacked according to Dave/Roary and his profile scammed 600m and he's never made an attempt to pay it back or even dispute his ban that I could find.

He already appealed and was un-banned on his alternate profile...

Could've sworn i'd also seen a fairly recent pardon (2015) from him which also referenced some malicious activity but can't find it with search option or google.

 

Must have been switched I guess? Regardless, it looks like all but one or two staff felt he shouldn't be banned.

His ban reason is interesting, but in time with the dispute. I couldn't locate it for some reason (the dispute). Seems like the ban was lifted and another staff member laid the hammer back down on him.

I think @Blupig is wrong on that one. I don't remember anything about him scamming but maybe I'm remembering wrong.

 

He posted something about how he had made a botnet and said it was because he was interesting in programming and someone decided that he was an undesirable because he had an interest in a botnet so they banned him, IIRC

 

The botnet may have been the malicious activity, but again I can't find the pardon for some reason unless it was deleted (sometimes happens) or the original copy was sent to USL instead of just being copied up there (happens once in a while) in which case it wouldn't appear to me obviously as I don't have access to it.

 

Not sure if leaking the staff lounge counts as drama but dude didn't do anything else wrong (and he was on staff for like a week IIRC)

If a user was hacked shouldn't it be verified that they are in full control of their profile before they're un-banned? Think LoLSmurfin actually did secure his profile post ban and just wasn't able to repay the amount as it was $1k+, but just making this point now before anyone goes un-banning a fuck ton of ancient profiles that can likely be easily hacked or may still be in control of hackers, and trust me when I say some people are idiotic enough to fall for a scam from a hacked profile even with a "Do Not Trade" rank. Especially with the DB leak and all the recent hackings.

Sindrefyrn was also involved in a lot of blackhat activity and even trying to sell/buy Sythe.org profiles, I sent proof of this to @n4n0 and other staff a while back
