It all sounds like a good idea, Would be great to see it in action.

Does this mean there would be no free version? If all goes well, I'd suggest a demo version of the bot, maybe a few scripts that last a certain time or something along those lines to give a taste of what it can do, which then allows people to decide if they want to purchase it or not.

Just an idea, might help with sales!

With $15,000 there are far better ways to increase inactivity here, both that would benefit you and the community.

 

Well, I would assume a free version with pro scripts. Also Just Hope are you being serious about 15,000 because if you are there are other things that could be done I am sure, as well.

 

After reading through this thread, the overall idea of creating a bot is neat.
It just depends how you look at it, you can say that there is an already established form of this service in multiple other outlets that provide the service at a near perfect level, and that pursuing it would just end in failure due to not already being established and not being able to market to people that already receive the service. Obviously the intentions would be to have a BETTER bot and provide a BETTER service so people would convert over. No guarantee that would work, and even if it was better, people might just say "I've been using X service safely for years, why would I bother switching." I'm not going to venture into the speculation portion of legal matters involved in all of this, but we can all conclude that there is a hefty downside in the long run, with Jagex and it's team of lawyers hungry for some lawsuits.

If you are looking to be innovative and change the image of Sythe to make it's overall population larger, then try and be more innovative. Can't recycle an already used idea and expect it to work this late into things. Kinda like Slay said, you have to provide a service that is a necessity and isn't offered anywhere else, or risk the obvious consequences of pursuing that is in abundance; being overlooked and disregarded.

As far as creating a bot client/bot with Sythe's stamp on it, that's denied.

However, the idea of creating a "swiftkit" type of client has actually been worked on by members of the forum, including Blupig and iJava.

I think the idea would be great. If you want to get a group of people together and start working on a client then propose the idea. I think it would be awesome if a person was forced to sign up for the forums first and then download the client. I'm sure that would be an awesome idea.
