[Need input]Market Redesign

I believe the PS3 market deserves to get a more visible position too.

I agree with this too. It'll be much neater. Maybe have the link sending you straight to the selling forum though, but the subsection link to buying at the top. A little like the Report a Scammer section with the Ban Evader subsection

That'd make it quite hard for new members to find. And it'll take a couple more clicks to reach it :/ I like its current position. I agree with a link to the Graphics Marketplace.

 

I wasn't going to remove any of the sub forums. It was just too much to type and was fairly irrelevant for the general overall theme.

 

The runescape guide/ebook section should be moved back under the runescape section, it can be annoying to find, other than that I agree with maybe grouping more of the unpopular sections and expanding the popular ones.

 

I think steam deserves it's own category and forums...

Something like..

*Steam Gifts/Keys
*Accounts
-Low digit/League exp account (subsection)

 

The market tools needs to include some kind of guide section for market related things (WU Guides, Anti-Scam guides, etc).

 

I disagree, I like to have all the guides organized in one section, and trust me, I am in that section quite a bit.

I agree that we should at least try something like this, the Steam section seems to be fairly popular.

I don't know about this, maybe a thread can be made that covers all of this?

How would it not be? Lol. All of the market related threads are spread across every where and all random stickies. Most of which are out-dated.

Market tools is supposed to be assistance, no? That's what guides are.

 

I doubt a lot of guides would be submitted, is all. Regardless you do have some point there but this thread is more about the overall picture than details.

I'd definitely like to see it in those 3 sections. They could at least temporarily split it into 3 sections and see how that turns out. Not sure why people always say no to that idea based upon the sections apparent lack of activity, when it gets some good traffic. There's nothing to lose by splitting it up.

 

Shouldn't "Other Games Market" be "Other PC Games Market"?

 

More general is better.

 

Regardless if more would be submitted, we can just drag some from other sections and compile them into one big area. Alright, I don't think I have anything more to input about the market redesign at the moment.

 

A million times yes. The Steam Market has been one of the most active market sections I've seen, and it's been that way since at least 2009 when I joined.

overall i like the idea for a change. As a daily user ive acutally cursed the current structure a few times

 

The PSN Market does not nearly have enough activity for it's own section.

 

Just change it to Consoles and be done with it.

 

i don't see whats wrong with it now, i also dislike how the rs section seems to be getting all the attention.

 

Even though I've only used the Xbox Market a few times, I know that it would be quite annoying to have all consoles in the same section.
