Alright guys, so.. There's this girl I met recently, and I sorta fell for her pretty quick.
I'm 17, and she's 16. I've known her for like.. a month and a half now.

So, we've hung out a few times and I just fell for her, but I made sure I wasn't making it too obvious. Eventually today, we got into talking about relationships and shit, and she was telling me how there's this guy she likes, so you know, I sorta felt like shit. But she eventually asked me about my current relationship life. I tried to just shrug it off. Told her there is none and such, but she kept pushing it, so I told her there's a few girls I sorta like. She kept bugging me and eventually, I told her I liked her. I guess it was too early and now it's just awkward. Anything I can do to make this better, or just give it time? I'm really at a loss right now, and I really do like her. But, I'm pretty sure I fucked up anything that coulda happened.

You need to give it time. Since you've told her this first, it's her turn so you have to let her make the decision. If she wants to then you're fine (duhhh...) but the thing to remember is if she doesn't, just apologize for the awkwardness, stay calm even when you feel like wrecking things and, honestly, ask her if you can try to be better friends with her (who knows it could lead to something further down the track).

Who knows what will happen? Love works in mysterious ways. My current gf bought me in a bachelor auction lol. Just don't beat yourself up about it, at least you said what you felt and that's more than most guys do.

Personally, I think it is kind of a sign that she was intrigued by your relationship status. It shows she has some sort of interest in you, so don't misinterpret that. If I were you, forget it ever happened. Talk to her the same way you would before. It'll be hard at first, but I think if you completely seem to disregard what you said in the past you'll be fine. Be sure to let us know how it goes for you two!

That is some great advice right there. Couldn't have said it better myself.

This all depends on her, if she wants to be friends or if she personally feels like that she needs space because she doesn't want to hurt you or lead you on. Give it no longer then a week and if it's still awkward then just break the ice and tell her that it's okay if she doesn't feel the same way about you, you're fine with just being friends. You told her you like her not like you want to get married and have a few kids it's just a crush she'll get over it and you will to. Who knows maybe one day you guys will be together but don't spend your whole life waiting for that chance and just find someone else who does like you. spilled milk isn't worth crying over, just wipe it up and live life happily.

No offence dude, but this sounds like some 7th grade shit. You're 17, you shouldn't be trying to bullshit around trying to pull off the feigning interest shit. Make it clear you're interested in her without acting weird. Tell her to come hang and watch a movie. During the movie, put your arm around her, then don't be a puss and move in for the kiss. If she kisses you back, you're in, grab some boob, grab some ass, get it done, she'll then know your feelings for her without you having to talk to her and getting friendzoned like a retard. If she pulls back after you kiss her, then you know one of the following things: She isn't interested in you like that (friendzoned), she's sexually immature and will probably say things are happening too fast, or you completely caught her off guard and she's fucken stunned that you kissed her and all of her fantasies are coming true and she then kisses you back hard af.

Good luck homie. Don't be scared to get that kiss.

haha this ^, so straightforward, but I agree, at the age of 17 unless you are extremely introverted, go for it and express yourself :).

Agree with these complete completely! You're 17! Not 13,14,15. Act like it never happened, what have you got to loose? She clearly has taken an interest into you too otherwise she wouldn't have kept pressuring you into telling her who you liked..

I used to do this stuff in 7th grade..

When I was 17, I was very careful about who knew what. My ex-girlfriend and I were really good friends, I couldn't be sure she liked me. I decided to introduce a few tests. One being;

When I was talking to a friend, I said to him that he should bring this girl called 'mary' out as she was a good laugh, then looked for her reaction. Which as the time, was very jealous and her comment of "Oh so you like this girl then!?" made it quite clear, that she did like me.

Then I pursued her, and sort of played hard to get.

But as for your current situation you've let your guard down and exposed yourself. Never deny what you said as it will show you're weak. You'd be best off talking to her like normal, or even just a "HI" when you next see her, if she treats you like a dick head, then I'd just come to terms with a lost friendship / potential partner. If she invokes into conversation with you, never mention it. If she's curious, she will.

Just give it time and be yourself if it's mean't to be it will happen on it's own anyway. Sometimes being good friends is the best way to start you have a foundation to build off of.

No stress, we've all been there before. Listen, she probably wasn't expecting for you to come out like that, I'd just take it easy and act like nothing ever happened, be as normal as before. Let it linger for a little while, as now she knows how you feel, she might adapt to it and feelings might arise for you, too.
