Everybody reacts different to marijuana. Some people get calmer, and less annoying when they're high, some just don't. It really depends on the person.

I don't do coke or crank or any other shit like that - I smoke pot. It's just a plant, and I get shit for that. They say drugs are drugs, which is bullshit. . . . I'm not tellin' people that they should smoke pot, too - that would be wrong and hypocritical - but I do support people's freedom to do what they choose.Greed and the desire to take drugs are two separate things. If you want to separate the two, the thing you do is make drugs legal. Accept the reality that people do want to change their consciousness, and make an effort to make safer, healthier drugs.

God created all : lands , sky , life , everything ! One those things were earth , dirt ! So everything , including dirt , plants , bugs - is creation of GOD . Don't you think that one those plants are weed ? Yes , it is ! But it's still a creation of the same god ! And guess what , goverment feels right to get it banned ... Yes , the goverment is banning an unique god creation ! don't you think goverment is feeling quite overpower with banning Gods creations ? ! anyway ... Congress should definitely consider decriminalizing possession of marijuana. We should concentrate on prosecuting the rapists and burglars who are a menace to society. Also - A smoker would theoretically have to consume nearly fifteen hundred pounds of marijuana within about 15 minutes to induce a lethal response... In strict medical terms, marijuana is far safer than many of the foods we commonly consume. For example, eating ten raw potatoes can result in a toxic response. By comparison, it is physically impossible to eat enough marijuana to induce death. So once more ! In other words : think people need to be educated to the fact that marijuana is not a drug. Marijuana is an herb and a flower. God put it here. If He put it here and He wants it to grow, what gives the government the right to say that God is wrong? The lesson has already been learned with alcohol prohibition. We tried to engineer an alcohol-free society and ended up with huge criminal enterprises, government corruption, children lured into organized crime and random violence that took the lives of countless innocent people. Don't you think keeping marijuana illegal may end up even way way more worse?

Also, weed has some other side effects. Apparently it screws up with your sperm (if you're a male) and eggs (if you're female). It stays in you're sperm/eggs for up to 90 days. In which time if you get pregnant and the sperm or the egg has Marijuana in it, the fetus will most likely have some deformity. Usually the body kills it off.

Also before the 70's there was hardly any "special education" children. Since then, there has been an incredible increase in mentally retarded children. Guess which decade had the heaviest Marijuana usage? That's right, the 70's.

This is all true, Konata, but the reason it's illegal is because the drug is associated with the "dangerous classes" - poor people, in other words, it's the moral consensus of the political classes that keeps it illegal.

Survival of the fittest. The marijuana plant was very good at surviving due to the effects of giving you the 'high' effect that intelligent beings steered clear of. Then some douche bags came along and started taking advantage of this adaptation in a negative way that doesn't benefit either.

The 'high' effect has uncontrollable actions. Which is why it is illegal.

 

The only legal way to get Marijuana is by getting a prescription for it (only in California.)

Everybody, just stop whining about marijunana, unless you abuse it.
People need to be responsible for their own risks.
People who are way too stoned would nor cause carcrashes because they are even way too stoned to even try to turn on the car. And even so, they would be at half the speed the state tells you to travel with (120 kmh?).
If you wiould smoke pot and drive a car at 80 mph, you would prolly shit ur pants, because it's harder to estimate distances

 

Legalize it. I dont do drugs but think of it. Asprin is legalized, but if u take 13 of those fuckers ur dead. Marijuana doesn't kill you, it just knocks u the fuck out and makes u hungry. LEGALIZE IT!
