Okay, so I've been doing some thinking about the topic of Marijuana and Alcohol. Law says you can't legally drink until the age of 21 if I'm not mistaken. So what about Marijuana? It is illegal by all standards?
My problem is, what causes so many car accidents and deaths every single year, is it Marijuana? I think not, it is Alcohol that does this.*1
Marijuana is used for medicinal purposes such as people with Glaucoma, and chronic pain in the back or other areas of the body. This is because it's an analgesic.*2
Marijuana is flat-out illegal. Why? Shouldn't weed have an age requirement too? It certainly does much less damage and causes much less deaths than Alchohol does.*3
Think about it, Marijuana can be addictive, or the effects can, and so can Alcohol. But which one causes more of a disruption? People get angry, and abusive and wanting to pick a fight because they are under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol is a depressant.*4
Marijuana on the other hand, is a depressant. It helps to relax and soothe pain.*5
So why is there an age limit on Alcohol but Marijuana is illegal by any means? Alcohol clearly does more damage than anyone under the influence of Marijuana.*6
Please post your thoughts here. I don't want anyone posting any replys that are un-educated or any 1337 speak. Intelligent conversations here.
*1 the problem it stays in yor system and continues to impare yor decisions 4 4mnth after.
*2 so is alchahol
*3 it does less dmg as it is illegal lol. 35 yrs bak some of finland made alchhol illegal. road accidents and violence as a result of alchahol was down over 95%
*4+5 lol u said there both depresants
*6 using the logic you giv shouldnt both be illegal? your saying weed isnt as bad a alchahol? but you stil say its bad lol
