I feel like people are saying ''no'' just because they don't want to offend someone or don't want to be judged. For me, as an straight man, it is hard to understand of this concept of 2 men making love....

I think that if two people both enjoy it then why not. The majority of the people who do not approve of it are either very religious or they instantly get the vision of a man walking around with a handbag and high heels. Gay people are just like you and I, they just have different preferences which is why I personally don't see anything wrong with it.

 

I'm all for it. Myself, I'm straight so I would not do it, however I do not have a problem with anyone doing it. It's not harming anyone and therefore it's perfectly fine. I'm religious btw, as that seems to matter to many posters in this discussion.

 

Don't knock it till' you've tried it.

 

Independent of what you, me or anyone thinks, it's an opinion and whatever makes people happy that's all what matters

No it's not, and people who judge it are insecure with their sexuality.

I am confident with my sexuality and have nothing wrong with people making love. There are much more significant problems in the world to worry about.

I personally find it against the "way of life". We're born to change the world, make a difference in any way, reproduce so our children can continue our legacy and keep the world going. The more the gay people the less the children being reproduced meaning the world is slowly dying out.

Just because the marriage rate has dropped, it's wrong to assume that homosexuality is the causing factor. Perhaps, like many other countries, men/woman a like are deciding not to marry. As, it's much more tolerated as well as the fact that the law is setup to completely ruin married men in the event of a divorce. So many are choosing not to marry, like myself. So your statistics aren't credible for the source of topic.

Also, your 'way of life, purpose filled life' approach is you just saying things. They're not factual and/or reasonable to use as an argument. Nobody is born for a purpose or has any prior intentions. For you to assume we're here to do just that is pure conjecture.

 

This could be a whole other debate which i may open a thread on.

 

Marrage is going down becaus the world is developing and as each country goes through the demographic transition womens rights increase and they begin to earn more, a result of this is that the opportunity cost of having a child increases and thus they have less children and get married later or don't at all.

 

Definitely not. I've never heard a reasonable counterargument, and I don't think one exists.
