In regards to Skype Hackings

I bought credit and didn't get hacked. Hopefully it stays this way...

Now im not to sure......but.......I was thinking on how this could of been done.
There was a switch over on windows 8 for us to sign in with out hotmail/msn accounts and i dont remember having to put my skype in......So i believe if your skype was not linked. Maybe just maybe you could override the skype login and use a random hotmail and link it to the skype?

 

They are using a security flaw within the skype recovery process if i understand correctly.

 

I was being threatened to get hacked, I have skype credit and skype premium, didn't getthacked thus far.. curious if this makes them unable to actually do it.

 

I may as well save people some money, I got hacked after purchasing Skype credit. No difference that I can tell.

 

Yeah same for me. I bought Skype Credits. Still my previous Skype got hacked.

No real fix yet as of now.

Yea, I highly doubt that has anything to do with the hackings. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

 

I use totally different email accounts that I use in every other site, I use specially created for it accounts, maybe knowegle of hackers about your e-mail addresses is the source of problem? Havent been hacked for even 1minute

 

Can someone look for this guy/girls IP and make sure he doesn't get access to the forums again?


He just took off with my gold prior to sale happening and he's covering up his name with a well known vendor here at the website.

 

If its the IP in the picture you can run a trace. When I did it, it came out with this IP 83.83.243.60. It appears to be the IP directly to an ISP so finding who it was would be extremely difficult. Plus, even if you had a live connection to the guy that you could trace, who knows if he is IP spoofing or not.

 

I would recommend making a report in the report a scammer section as there is a match for the IP address here on Sythe. If you can provide sufficient evidence we may be able to help you out.

I know their method. Having skype premium does not make you immune. Make sure NO ONE knows what email you use on your skype. I can pm a staff member on exactly how they do it but I won't reveal to public as I don't want this to continue.

 

My email was nothing to do with sythe yet I still managed to get hacked. When I tryed to regain my account I gave them fuck all information and still managed to get it back, they can easily guess most of the questions such as 5 contacts, creation year etc.

 

and i just so happened to get scammed when I_Dont_bot 's skype was hacked haha

 

Be careful with who you give any information too.
