I Feel Like A Horrible Person.

Recently, I got into an automobile accident.
I barely missed a BMW, and it got an ugly scratch on it.
Luckily, nobody was hurt, but I have to pay $600 for its paintjob.

I seriously didn't know what to do. I couldn't tell my parents, my dad (minister and college professor teaching in that field) was going on a missionary trip and if I told him, of course he would have been a father and paid for the expenses. However, that would have canceled his trip.

So I told my church teacher. I told her of my situation, and she told me that she would take care of things. I told her that I would pay her back as soon as possible.

Of course, now the problem is solved, but I feel very guilty, I feel like I used such a good person for money.
She sent us weekly text messages telling us to have a nice week, and that bugged me a bit. Furthermore, it seemed like she was snooping around my business and that bugged me more. So, I before this accident, I basically ignored her and put her number in my phone's block list.

I, a person who put a person in my blocked-numbers list and ignored her came back asking for help. Not just simple help, but $600's worth of help.

I feel like a fucking asshole.

 

The person who helped you is a true follower of God and i believe its a sign that if she can have mercy on you to help pay ..correction pay for your ticket after you've done what you said..even if she hadn't known..God is making his presence known to you..thats how i feel

Stop looking back in the past. Regretting it won't do anything. Accidents happen, and if you want to prevent it from happening in the future, go practice driving and don't drink booze in the car.

It's not something from the past, if you can call barely an hour ago the past, that is ... Technically, it is, but yeah

It was a motorcycle accident, and I never drink before driving.

But yeah, I should go practice driving more lol

well i feel like you did the right thing not telling your dad to save the trip and your family some money. also i think that you also did the right thing blocking your church teacher even though this person gave you the money it still gives them no right to but into your buisness.

 

Re pay her and keep her in your life. Shes a good person.

 

Just pay her back and it's all good. Maybe give her another chance too.
