    If lean was a sectional, would be no problem. However, he's a global which I see should be fit for certain types of activity. Not just simple mod score reached within an hour.

    I do not understand this

    All staff should have to contribute to the community discussion aswell as helping clean up the required sections. I'm a firm believer in interacting with the community being more important than mindless tasks giving modscore.

    I've always liked the idea that staff members should contribute in the ways in which they feel like. Community involvement is great but so is doing tons of reports and never posting in any community discussions.

    I do not understand this

    I can't access it to copy/paste as it was in Staff Lounge, that there should be a redistribution of authority, as I put it. Staff should choose the areas in which they are interested and excel.

    I believe there should also be a team dedicated to all disputes and pardons. This team would be 5 members, chosen by staff as a whole who are unbiased, do proper research, and have proven their ability to compromise and problem solve.

    I did not receive many positive responses, though I still completely agree with the ideas.

    Yea, the current system is presumably unchanged to the extent that it places a disproportionate emphasis on mod logs. Although it's the easiest objective way to gauge activity, engagement with the community, staff discussions etc etc are equally important, if not more so.

    Unfortunately you'll get a less objective/potentially biased standard if you take into account other factors, yet if the present system remains the issues that have existed in the past will continually come the fore every so often as they have been for the past 2 years or more years.

    Well, to be honest, I didn't see myself coming off of Sythe staff any sooner than 14-16 months from now, and certainly not on bad terms. I've still got questions that I'm sure aren't going to be answered, but I'm hoping for the best. I had quite a few ideas about switching things up to benefit everyone, but change just wasn't taken well.

    I don't imagine there would be sustained interest in a team like that. They'd feel burdened, and people can only do so many reports before it's extremely taxing.

    Certain things would be done by everyone, but the point is all staff members have preferred and disliked activities. If we double up on preferred for that user and half their dislike, it would have a great effect on morale. That was just one of my ideas, but I still believe it could function to our advantage as a team, given the correct implementation.

    Things aren't going to change. I've been around Sythe for a long time now and bee active during most of it and things have never changed. The only thing that changes is the faces, and when the faces change you notice that a solid 75% of them are salty when they become ex-staff. There are issues that are just bandaged and pushed to the side until it becomes infectious, and then they just put a bigger bandaid on it and hope it doesn't fall off and that people won't notice.
