GP Donations

This is true but why not just do it like this you give gold to sythe once your gold has been sold you get the amount of money they sold your gold for maybe - a certain percentage. You could sticky the post and the gold rate could be anywhere from .75/m to $1/m as who knows how free trade will affect the value of gp.All of the profits would go towards sythe and the % taken out would just help advertise the gold for sale.

 

Free trade is 95% coming back, i saw a video of a jmod saying they had already started working on it, i think this is a good idea... i personally wowuld donate at least 10m to sythe, and more every month.

 

Alright now with free trade confirmed and what not, anyone have any ideas how we can make GP Donating safer and avoid RWT bans for it?

 

If this came back i would be willin to donate as i dont play rs anymore, most private servers are accepting rsps as donations aswell so this could be a good idea.

you could do it via staking, but you may have to risk the same amount back to make it legitimate.

 

Guys. I will be running the GP donations portion of donations. I trust that I have enough experience in the market to do it better than your average person. I have multiple plans and ideas for accepting GP as well as avoiding bans. Any accounts I own that suffer a ban with any donated gold on them will be at my own expense, and both the GP donor as well as Sythe will receive their end of the deal.

Expect to officially see both GP donations and a gold shop in which the donated GP can be purchased within a week for pre-orders. Please have faith that I know what I am doing, and will take all precautions necessary. Thanks : P

Ideally, they will be open on the first, yes. However I want to make sure everything, including all safeguards and preventive measures I have for the system are in place before beginning to accept any donations. However, it will be out relatively soon, very close to the free trade update.

This is more or less also a service that will be intertwined with FireZ's paypal service, as we will both be helping each other out when necessary for the respective services.

 

Say that we already donated real money, what would happen if we donated GP as well? I wish I waited until I read this, I can donate so much more in GP than money .

 

No matter if you donate paypal or GP, it will all be turned into paypal and no GP donor ranks are coming out at this time.

 

Is there a set exchange rate per mill when the GP is donated or is it just whatever it sells for?

i think $1/m will be at first for the sellers and there gold. unlike me with accounts i have that have been on the back burner since free trade was gone, got around 3b worth of gold and rares and will be waiting to sell ALL of it once i see price per 1m go about 2.50-3.00 bucks a mil, and maybe more if i see how fast the jump of the prices goes

Sounds like a great idea for new people, since they're more likely to get scammed when selling their gold - you'll do the hard work for them and get them their donor status.

The only problem I see is, you would get scammed with chargebacks when people buy the gold - which is a nuisance when you're losing money. Do you have something to protect yourself? Great idea in the short run, but if you start losing money quickly - it's not worth your while >.<


Also don't do a BMTH.

 

I guess FireZ has the problem aswell with his paypal donation service...
