GP Donations

This would get sythe alot more donations, even alot of small ones add up to quite a bit

Only bad thing about it I think is that people will start donating like 5M and then think they have a good status to scam with. Appearing more trusted to new members etc.

So 99% support.

 

I'm not too sure about it, I would think that keeping it to IRL payment donations and keep the gold donations to gold shops?

 

This could work. If allowed, I would be willing to open a "Sythe gold shop" of sorts, and forward Mathew the proceeds from all donated gold sold. Just a possibility, but unless something along those lines occurrs, I doubt that Richard has any need for rsgp ; )

 

I have a quick Idea, Maybe for every member that's outstanding or something they would meet the holder of all the gold on rs, and then recieve a certain amount of money?
And plznate I know this may seem farfetched but If you ever need someone to help out if this goes through, I am always 100% willing.

They stopped accepting paypal because chargebacks. How can you chargeback rsgp?

 

Sure why not. Only problem with this is it's a little more time consuming then just money up front but more people would donate. It wouldn't be challenging to hand it off to a mod/admin or an official gold shop of the site to sell.

 

Paypal is coming back. Patience. Anyways I'd rather deal with rsgp then paypal anyday but hopefully we can run both of them at the same time.

 

And if an account got banned, what'd happen?

 

hmm, Do you mean if an account got banned from suspicious trading?
There would probably be a liability that you have to agree to first.

 

Supporting this definitely, I'd happily donate some of my RS gold for the rank. I hope they still have the same look as the old ranks however.

If I remember correctly, back in the day someone would receive a little compensation by helping in the "gold donation process."

Sorta, there was a bunch of stuff going on.

 

Stop pretending to know something you don't.

There was at one point SytheMills, which was run by a user name Thorpe, now known as Coach Thorpe, and it didn't work out because the average price of gold was around $3-4, and they were selling it for around $8. I think it'd be too risky anyway, the accounts could be banned at any given time, and all those donations would have been useless. If it were to be implemented, I assume they'd go back and re-instate the 5m donator ranks back.
