Nobody here is questioning your contribution to the site, we all respect that, it's your attitude to the average user - you let your passions and authoritative manner (which can usually come across as arrogant and/or disrespectful) run into the way that the site is run, and frankly the way that you let your opinion show in the decisions you make, is simply rude.

Wth are you talking about. You don't get hacked because you go into TC. I've been in there since February and I haven't been hacked. You know who do get hacked? ANYONE who has even a little bit of trust that don't take the proper precautions in securing their msn gets hacked.

But the point is she still was able to state her opinion as a normal member but was a former staff member and it was done. It started out legimately, some people decided to flame and it got off-topic, but if you can go back to first page and realize what this thread is really about; I can honestly say I support SuF 100%. I try to avoid dealings with staff as much as possible, and I definetly thing some 'official' positions are too easily achieved; specifically OMM. Far far far far too much corruption.

Rofl. Time spent here at Sythe is only important when it comes to providing that as evidence to know what you're talking about. I agree with you, there is a different between being active and being here. I read a very good thread about what does post count really mean, from a 3 year veteran with only a 250 post count.

See heres the thing. OMM is actually hard to get. The staff run checks on the OMM with a pending application, and make sure he/she is not vading or has done anything against the rules. Many apps are denied because the staff just don't feel comfortable with that member as an OMM. ix Syed ix was an amazing mod, and a great OMM. He shouldn't be banned at all. When people try to talk about "all the evil banned members" those are my friends. We've known each other in spam forum, talked on tinychat etc. They didnt scam me. They wont scam you if you just talk to them in tinychat. Having a @live/@hotmail msn is inviting getting hacked.


HOWEVER

none of that can happen in tinychat. You've pretty much made gearheart official, just let us advertise our own damn tinychat

And yes, the rift between staff and members has been going on since December and even farther back. Any structure where some people have power and others don't causes rifts. However this doesn't have to be a problem if good communication occurs; as Finn said. You are flaming him, because your attacking him on a thread that isn't titled "User vs User" (lol), and making me, another innocent user make a post just to call you off because you look quite stupid.

The bottom section of your post I completely agree with. The top half; Check the thread about Staff promotions/demotions over the years. OMM has more corruption than any of them.

 

Half the members use statements and words they don't actually know to get noticed for being intelligent because on sythe if your grammar is horrible odds is they won't take you serious. My grammar is bad because i choose not to care unless it's for a real good cause i type whatever way for me is fast and convenient.

good communication between staff and normal users will prove difficult because staff seem to want things to be private and share when it's a lolwtf issue to them.

By the way me and my friend IRL that was banned on sythe for getting hacked VIA msn in his 3 month or so absence used IRC and tinychat and it did no harm i found it better then using the actual forum. For the fact banned users are generally the funny trolls and people who gotten banned for some gay reason.

No, its not corruption. At one point all the OMM's were removed as the trade limits were induced, making it impossible to stop scamming. Barely any OMM's have scammed (less than staff!).


The point is, tinychat is not related to sythe. Hackings do not occur because of tinychat. Sytheofficial is not run by banned members, it is run by a global/HUE(GRATS) and an ex-global.
