game servers

a WoW private server would be dope af

 

not a game server, but a sythe bot for osrs/rs3 (majority of the market) would be TIGHT. the marketplace for sythe is really locked down and fair so theres no scripters cheating their way for more money, and everything would be way more organized than the top bots such as tribot/osbot

 

From what I know:

317 - Oldest Graphics, pretty much 07Scape and even before that (In terms of items, combat system etc)

718 - 2012 RuneScape

751/788/830 - RS3 Major Updates (EoC, Interface System etc)

Pretty much as the numbers go up so does how recent the game is. Usually the most popular servers are 317's with some items from the future (such as chaotics, curse prayers etc). This is what Ikov had.

 

I want a 2010 - 2011 version of rsps

 

Same, we should have a poll setup shortly. 718 seems to be the way to go.

 

Heads up - I'm working on a csgo 1v1 arena server. Once this one's done, I'll be also doing either a DM or community competitive.

There is a 1.6 server up, but it's barebones atm. After the csgo servers are done, I'll shift my focus to the 1.6 server and add a couple mods there (stats, maybe sounds, etc) - feel free to pm me any suggestions and I'll take them into consideration.

Only things wrong with the game were the staff and the time it took for updates to happen. Both these issues would be resolved with sythe in charge.

 

Why should the CDT poll it when the core team will be doing all the work? Let the core team handle it

Who is going to handle making decisions on what the TCT should be doing is still up in the air. We are currently waiting on admins to do some stuff so we can work more closely with the CDT and PRT and once that happens I'm sure we will work out something and let everyone know.

317 is the oldest, this is not 07 like people think it depends on the base of the 317 you use, some are 07 based some aren't.

Edit: There is a 377 version inbetween these 2, very very few were ever coded and they never did well.

468 is the next one, this is creeping typically towards the 2008 era.

After that its either 502 or 528, I believe theres a 560 something to but their long gone, they died off, very very few 502's/528's exist because their just not popular, this is the 08-09 era.

614 is your next one, this is the 2010-2011 era, these are ONLY used for spawn pking at like varrock west bank or edge or g.e.

next you have your 637's & 639's this is the 2011-2012 era, again all pking spawns, anything 600-699 is a pking spawn or meant to be, no-one plays eco versions of these.

Next u've got ur 718's I believe this is the (2013?) era, these are meh, they've gradually died off and theres no giant ones left.


The next one is the taboo one, 745+ you've now passed out of the RS realm and into EoC, with chaotic claws and abilitys you have now reached rs3.
