That's a little excessive. I almost did something like that with my coding for the system I made, however, if they wanted to, two people could complete the form at once and give eachother links.

I might add an optional field for a trade description as well. I think it's a good way to log trades, even vouches.

 

I did a brief search but I can't be bothered doing an extensive dig just for a quote.

It was when sythechat was just released, I said that it badly needed a desktop client. Someone offered to program it. You said we don't need one, and the topic was dropped.

I'm not taking a jab at you, basically just pointing out that you definitely shouldn't rule it out.

 

I'd say it's better in the sense that whenever the user is on Sythe, he's on Sythechat. It encourages use if anything, and they can open/close it at any time easily without opening and closing another window.

Also did you take a look at the verify tool?


And by the way, I don't know why the hate on iFrames. The only thing bad I've heard about them is that they're outdated. Well in that case, a lot of things are outdated. Of course HTML5 will be better, but iFrames are still useful in a lot of cases. The only bad thing about them is it breaks up things but for our purposes it's fine. In fact it's encouraged still for applications. The only downside, again, is if someone stumbles upon a portion of the website. This can be resolved by having a message underneath the portion of the frame that will actually be used describing this to them. And what I created can be done without iFrames, but on the host's server.
