    Quite a few people impersonating themselves were caught back when skype resolvers worked half decently, I remember Wae55, Septicon and some 3rd guy who FireZ caught who was like a big trader at the time or something

    Exactly. Thats what I'm saying. If reputable people want to self-impersonate themselves then they run the risk of being banned. Its up to them if they want to succeed in the long run or just make short-term cash.

    If you don't know how to see someone's username on a social media app, then you shouldn't use the internet. People who care about money will read carefully and not get scammed. People who fall for the scam are at fault.
