Donors do not see/'turn off' adverts?

Donors who achieve X level of donation (be it $50/100/200/300) do not see the adverts on Sythe.org, or can choose to 'turn off' the adverts.

As a type this, there are currently three independent adverts running in the top right of my screen (banners). My suggestion is that users who show a commitment to the running of the website (via donation) should at least be given the option of turning these adverts 'off'.

Not sure how feasible this is, but thought I would throw it out there

 

Who's going to pay for ad space if the people with the dough can't see 'em.

The advertisements don't phase me whatsoever, and if they're creating revenue to keep this site going; I wouldn't want them to disappear.

If you set it to say $300 status, only a minority of the community would not see the adverts, and if it was made to be an opt out benefit, (e.g at $300 ads are still turned on by default, you have to turn them off manually in your CP or donor CP).

I would hazard a guess that those who are $300 and above 'shop around' and are not impulsive buyers based on ads, but this is an assumption.
