Do You Have "Rights" After your Dead?

There is no you though, only a dead body.

 

They have respect and pre-death rights that are to be held on the event of death.
Thereby needing consent for organs to be removed in the event of death, prior to death itself.

 

Rights are a human made abstract term. There is no universal truth regarding rights. The difference between being dead or alive in this respect is that a living person can fight for his rights if he feels they are being violated, while a dead person can not. In short, you have rights after you're dead if the people in possession of you or with ability to affect you think you do.

 

Rights may be a human made abstract term but no matter, It's morally incorrect and probably illegal to take the organs of the deceased without the consent of them before death or of there appointed aid after or during a time in which they cannot respond for themselves. There may be no "Universal Truth" but I'm quite sure there must be morals pretty much everywhere.

 

A dead body that the Next of Kin has the rights to that bodies rights and decisions.

 

I couldn't agree more even if you have atheistic views angrily spewing out your beliefs in an intelligence thread is as a contradiction as it is an embarrassment.

 

Legally, you have rights to your body and everything inside of it, no matter what you put in your will. Your body parts may only be used once you die if you allow it. i.e. DMV Organ Donor
