Why does everyone think they have rights?

You are absolutely free to do whatever you choose, but there are always consequences for your actions.

 

What kind of rights are you referring to? The Bill of Rights and the Constitution guarantee a certain amount of rights so I don't see why you say we don't have them.

 

I am talking about all of them, our rights were put here before the laws and yet the laws take away a little more of our rights every time another one is passed, most of which are just annoyances which are so our government can make more cash. I understand it takes a lot of money to run a nation but taking away what the nation was founded upon is not the answer.

 

Laws don't take away our rights. Laws are in place for our safety, laws are put into place because someone ruined it for the rest of us, and we have to prevent it from happening again by inflicting punishment. Society would not be able to function if everyone has complete freedom to do whatever the hell they wanted without consequence.
