and overall increased participation by all our present and future members.

Thanks for the feedback, we're in the process of re-designing the way members are added. That means more will be added in the near future.

 

Several high involved users in CDT, but then there are some that I rarely see posting.

It all starts with a simple thread discussion. It'd do wonders. I don't see much of that anymore.

Setting up more Sythe affiliated games/clubs/groups/etc. might spark interest in Sythe users as well.

As a gaming mod, groups/clans/teams are something that I'm very interested in, but with sythe's focus as a gaming black market it's pretty tough to go about this. I've been working on ways to get this going. I'm keeping things under wrap at the moment, but be assured things are in the works in this category!

1 - Posting threads ≠ contributing to the things that go into them. Most of the time threads are posted by those with modly powers or just whoever's online at a given time.

2 - I've been advocating for threads like this one in which we can relatively openly discuss things for a long time. My hope is that we'll have more of them; if it were entirely up to me, I'd have a feedback/discussion thread for everything and include more people in everything (more on that soon I hope).

3 - Yeah, I agree. I posted this in response to the active pool tournament in hopes that it might spur other similar groups. Non-CDT folk can always create them if they're interested, but it seems that they don't know that/don't want to.

I wasn't aware of this. In some cases I prefer to keep it secret, but most of the time people could definitely contribute. Next event I'll PM you or start a thread.

it seems like the majority of your guys problems come from inactive/lack of members and lack of communication from the group as a whole.


and nothing seems to be getting done about that even though I heard there have been plans since December to do so.

Yeah, I feel you. If it were up to me, everything would be crowdsourced... miniranks, events, membership in CDT, forum changes, everything. I think this makes the most sense, involves the community the most, and generally makes everyone happiest (also, you can't blame us entirely if something sucks ).

Still waiting on Jack to fill us in about his new CDT application system, so hopefully that'll happen soon... I hope. And regarding valentines, I just posted a thread about ten days ago asking if anyone wanted to do anything for it. I then had personal things to take care of so was out of action for a few days. We've never done a valentines event before, and coming up with something that didn't totally suck was kind of hard (again, crowdsourcing would be useful here), but Darkest and I tried to come up with something. DD just mentioned that he's getting a reasonable response, and the event isn't half over yet, so that's something at least.

Thanks for the feedback though. I think it needs to be said and encourage everyone else to chip in.

There was more to it than simply than simply adding more members. Jack Goff was working on other changes, adding new faces was put on hold until that happened.
