What is that "very good reason"? Your speculation about me being a cheater in the CDT weeklies? Yet I got proof of not being one and am currently the not disqualified #1 in the weeklies.

This part of your post should also be removed as this is apparently only opinion. I haven given gratitude to artur, veng,tmoe, Chloe and shin in my post which you have removed and that is abuse of your powers which I believe you should be punished for.

That is the behaviour of someone who is supposed to be representing a team, a person who has power, a person who is incapable of responding to a community member when there is an issue.

Whether this is in discord or not. It is such a shame that cdt last year had to deal with feedback in all terms whether in SF or if troll, the new lead and some team members since have become so lazy and disgusting in their ways to respond to an issue by only diverting that issue to this thread so that they can look like they are doing good and to gain postcount. Such a disgrace.

@Sythe why is our feedback no longer important when it is in any other place than then this thread? And why does the cdt have a leader who is abusing his powers.

When Blackblasses does the exact same thing which my CDT application got denied on: deleting posts (=abusing power) and talking shit to people when I was a PR leader 7 months ago. Shouldnt, using the same rules, Blackblasses be removed?

 

when you block someone on skype there's an option to keep them added as a contact even though they're blocked, he could not be seeing any of your messages.

Also, can show the entire Skype convo to an admin/mod if wanted to show that I didnt do anything that a community development leader should block me for.

 

I'm not sure why I am being tagged? I do not run the CDT team and have nearly zero involvement in it.

Individuals are not required to answer messages from someone and if the matter is pressing you can always message someone else.

I have no idea why you were removed or what justification was given and don't know enough specifics to attempt to correlate them to another.

As far as I can tell, this seems to be an argument based on personal disagreements so if this is the case, if everyone could take the conversation to PM opposed to spamming this threa, that would be great; however, if there are actual suggestions and feedback, post them.

Edit: I am on mobile and missed quite a few of the posts and only really saw argumentative posts back and forth.

Feedback is valued and if there are issues, please PM me them and I'll look at them sometime tonight. This response was not meant to brush off any possible problems; rather, I made my post before seeing the extent of the posts.

 

All my posts are based on facts, not on personal disagreement. Sonia her post is based on facts too. I tagged you because the CDT itself cant seem to fix their problem.

Would likea fair judgement on all the facts named in this thread, just reading the posts give you enough information on the matter.

 

@Buyacc and @Sonia , from now on, if you have any issues or complaints, feel free to contact me and i can handle the situations as the alternate CDT leader.

 

The steam game? I think free to play browser games or small downloads would be better, that way it gives everyone an equal chance to participate.

 

Tbh I believe @BlackBlasses is a good leader and dont see why he should be punished.
He's been nothing but helpful in all my encounters and seems to be a valuable asset to the CDT.
You have obviously done something bad to provoke the whole him-ignoring-you situation as he wouldn't do that with nothing to warrant it.
Keep up the good work BlackBasses and all of the CDT.
Also I shall refrain from feedback on this thread now - just wanted to back up Basses a bit with factual experience.

EDIT: Well I assume and cant wait for a PK tournament or something once the Sythe RSPS is released :3

 

[CDT] Summer 2017 Minirank Designing Competition [Ends July 21st @ 10:00 PM EST]

This thread was clearly not actively advertised. If you search discord for the mention of this link it was advertised once by paper shark. In the time the event was open only 11 people entered, 6 of whom are apart of cdt. This is an extremely off placed section (community input) I mean dead, a barely seen section. If it had been actively daily advertised atleast a few times perhaps you would have people entering, the thread did not even garner more than a page of entries.

All in all advertise your events, always in skype groups spam forum bump the thread in discord etc. People like me who get bored of visiting the site but often view the discord will appreciate more communication from the cdt if you want to develop how we are participating I suggest you tell us about your events. The minis are shit and need better members entering. Nobody needs a turd stain on their profile, nobody will want to bother entering events with ugly minis. As compared to last years olympics events and summer minirank event there was 30 people that entered all for the points. This year clearly slacking.

The vote thread has gathered votes, because people post and people see the thread continuously I presume, that has been adv once since yesterday in the discord since it was made.

 

Thanks @Sonia for the feedback! The minirank comp has always been held in community input since i can remember. that being said, its really not our problem if you are "bored of visiting the site." Its also not our job to remind you that its there everyday. Next time we will advertise it more. Also, all CDT events are usually also crossposted in [LIVE] New CDT Event now! [LIVE] just to make sure it is seen

 

I could be wrong but arent those two of the main points the CDT should focus on? Trying to make sure people enjoy visiting the site so that they return and, in an attempt of doing so, make events which are properly advertised so people actually know that they are going on. If the community doesnt know that an event takes place then who are you holding the event for?

No, our job is not to remind one single individual that there's an event. The events are cross-posted, stickied, and shared in 'spam forum' and its original thread. We cant MAKE you come to the site and FORCE you to read it, that's solely on you. We try our best with all the events and community changes based on feedback to have an active community, and the active people who wanted to participate in that event will be rewarded accordingly.

 

It is your problem, as buyacc pointed out very clearly. If the thread and event was advertised outwards then you can bring in members to participate, I wouldnt ask pr to do this this is a very simple task of actively seeking and notifying members I used to do it purposely and annoyingly all the time. If I had known I would of come on to participate.




Side note it seems island is making excuses for being lazy and just not seeming to care to want community participation /: what a shame. How about just saying "yeh sure we can do that"

if this is an excuse, then sure. We bump our threads, we post master threads everywhere on forums, and spam forums. We spam master threads (master threads are threads that have all the events running linked onto one thread) in the Sythe discord. This is properly advertising.

edit: and by spamming all events, we mean individually. she seems to want all events individually spammed instead of the master thread
