Bounty Hunter Pickup Penalty Bypass

Thanks to 1892AmberCrombie for posting a vid in his guide that i saw it working in...

It's really simple, i can't believe we never thought of it before. You get the penalty after you kill someone, after they die, fall down, finish all their dead animation and the loot appears. If you kill them, and quickly leave through a cave exit, before they finish dying, then by the time they are dead, you are no longer in there, so you dont get a penalty. Wait 30 seconds, then walk back in and pick up their stuff and walk out without a penalty.

ok each kill disapeers in 45 secs so u walk out and the guy dies in maybe 2 more secs u walk back in takes 30 secs and u only have from 15-17 secs to find loot u would have to be really lucky...

 

dissapears in 60, and its better than nothing

 

A week ago it was also possible to use 'telekinetic grab'. You could still leave if you took it with it.

 

but that doesnt work anymore... so... this does...

 

Great idea mate but as stated its very risky; probably more risky then the penalty time. What happens if you lag out? What happens if you get attacked coming in our trying to leave?

Keep thinking tho I like the refreshing ideas; its original

First of all, you'd have to kill them by a cave door, risky.
Second, you'd have to go out.
Wait 30 seconds..
Go back in, and im sure it takes around 17 seconds to run ACROSS from one side to the other to get the cave, even if your lucky, you have a very low chance of even finding your loot.

Timer is less risky in my opiinon.

 

3 minutes of being piled with great items? better to swallow down the energy pots and run to your loot

 

I was under the impression you got a penalty if you picked up ANYTHING..

I was in on my range pure, I couldn't even take my own arrows without getting the penalty.

thats cuz if you have the pickup penalty from killing anyone, then you cant pick anything up. this helps that

 

is it possible to get the person to low hp then they somehow kill themselves...eat a bad kebab or somtin...nightshade..wtv is allowed in.

 

That is a very good idea someone should try that.

Unidentified liquids from the digsite quest do 25 damage if you drop them.

 

I think there is an easier way to get past this problem. It's called poison.

What if, you get them about 7hp? use a ddp++ to kill them, you quickly leave then wait for the 30 seconds. Then, in that 30 seconds the poison should kill them, right?

Then, that will give you well over 30 seconds to find them?
