Bots Being Killed!

Jagex is actually doing something now. Several of my bots were banned yesterday using iDungeon Pro (all P2P, btw) and my "bot friends" all share the same story. Some with iDung, ArtePrayer, Ultimate Fighter, AutoSoulWars, kMiner, etc. w/ P2P accs.

 

It's actually good to know they are doing something.
I doubted them this whole time, they could actually pull through.

 

RSBuddy is UK based.

 

That gave me a good laugh.
However, I do think that Runescape will pull through sooner or later due to the fact of how many players/members of this forum are talking about how they already blocked some bots/scripts.

 

I dont bot frost dragons so this doesnt effect me.

 

I think this is because Jagex changed the portal keys, meaning the bots couldn't solve random events, the world I was in, there was a good 50+ people stuck in that chicken r.e.

 

I've been reading what the legit players have been saying on the Runescape forums and its quite interesting. Everbody is mostly just flaming Jagex because their solution to destroying Frost Dragon bots has already been worked around and the bots are already coming back. I was there just a few moments ago and there are tons of bots in the caves already, botting away and owning the Frosties.

I wonder if Jagex has another trick up their sleeve that is going to happen in the next week or 2, or whether that update was literally all they had =/ I guess we can only wait to see.

 

Hopefully they will stop them all together.

 

This. Since the announcement I've lost 3 bots.

 

They'll honestly never stop bots, nor would they want to. The financial gain for them as a company is simply too much to lose. There pointless updates are simply trying to convince legitters that they are trying to combat the bot problem.

 

You have no idea how many times Jagex has promised to "kill bots" over the last 5 years that I've been into Runescape cheating.

Every single time there is, yes, a mass ban, but the botting community is never impacted.

 

This time something is really happening , I was making army of abyss bots and during last 10 days I got ban on 15 of them!! And its pern ban , so jagex is def doing something...

 

Do you reckon your accounts were banned because of Jagex changing the ID of the portals so that the bots couldn't solve the random events? Apparently, this is how a lot of accounts were caught botting, because they were in a random event for hours..

 

We can make and train accounts faster than they have the resources to find us and ban us. Jagex brought this on themselves. I don't have a problem with them killing the big-time goldfarmers, those are the ones that are fucking up the game.

 

I don't bot anymore besides dung on noob accs because of bans nowadays.

 

There are no random events with dungeoneering, and my bots were banned using iDungeon Pro, and this is P2P.

 

Botting skills = Good
Goldfarming = Bad.
