Auto Thread Locking Mod

Well, my suggestion is to get the auto-locking mod for Sythe. This will eliminate the rule of grave-digging, because after "x" amount of days of no activity in the thread, it will be locked. I already know where the mod is on vbulletin.org, so PM me if you need it. Basically, the mod will automaticly lock a thread if it isn't active for "x" amount of days (Admins/Mods may set the date.)


At least now people won't get infracted for grave-digging...

this will encourage more spam, people who have a topic they like will bump it more frequently

 

Nooo not really.... and this will lock most of the old threads that get grave-digged now a days.......

It won't encourage spam..... if a thread isn't active for "x" amount of days, it will just be locked...

and if the thread hasen't been active for a while, why would someone just post in it?

 

I agree with Finniscool, however if it could lock a thread that is about 3 or so months old it would work, because sometimes the odd person bumps a really old thread.

 

Its a good idea but I have my vouches in a thread and if it got locked then id need to get it unlocked again so I can get more vouches onto it so I say no

 

Exactly, "the odd person". I don't think we really need a mod just for them.

Well yea, the mod will mess up the markets I think....

 

As everyone else said this will cause more spam, also allot of interesting topics have gone to the back pages just because the person was inactive for a while.

Also allot of topics would be reposted.
