[Approved, sort of] Require A Minimum Sat Fee

There isn’t a single report against a coinbase transaction (or any wallet with a fixed fee), because it’s never going to be an issue. This only affects blockchain users or other wallets where the seller has manually adjusted fees to a low amount.

 

How will you be able to prove that someone has manually adjusted fees to a lower amount?

 

It's very easy for a seller to take a screenshot of the fees they're using from blockchain (whether it's priority, regular or below regular)before sending, maybe this burden of proof will fall on buyers (sending the btc) who continue to send with low fees (without informing customers). None of this has been decided yet as we're still discussing options

No support , minimum sats can be way higher than what is considered normal. If we do set a minimum of 20 sats for example and transactions with 5-7 sats are confirming it would be a big waste of money. You can't set a minimum fee amount with fees changing every minute.

 

I don't think there should be a required minimum but I do agree if you are going to send with fees below the regular I.E you edit the amount to lower than the standard, you must inform your customer and offer to send with a higher fee if they cover it (In most cases they will cover it so sending low fees without discussing it is just terrible business) and if they don't agree to your fees or agree to cover them, in the case they already gave you gold before you started to discuss fees (also bad business) they should receive a 100% refund and be able to trade someone else who is willing to send at a normal fee.

Support in the sense that you should just communicate with your customers so there is no confusion when your transaction takes 3 days to confirm.

 

If individuals are going to complain about not getting their money on time then they should select a different cryptocurrency or payment method.

However, at the same time I could also go for if they're not willing to do as I stated above, then gold sellers should just up account for higher SAT costs when buying / selling.
