[APPROVED] Refresh the Home IP TWCs thread

I feel like the current threads are quite unclear and don't really represent as why they've been tagged there. "Home IP" isn't something everyone understands. Technically a mobile IP would be considered as a home IP aswell, but still they get denied for using a mobile connection. (or atleast most)

This thread is designed for staff members to tag people who haven't posted from their home IP. If you have been tagged here or have a TWC that redirects to this thread it means you will need to make a thread and post from your home IP in order to get it removed.

A home IP is your connection at home, mobile internet does not count as your home IP.

When you've been tagged in this thread it means that the staff members of Sythe are considering your IP as non sufficient to partake in the market without a Trade With Caution rank. For all users we need them to have used their Home IP atleast once recently. What we consider as a "Home IP" is a static or dynamic IP that proves you actually reside at the location your IP says you're at. A home IP is often the IP you're using when all VPN's are turned off and your ethernet is plugged in and being used in/on your computer. What we consider as a home IP is probably known as a "home broadband" IP your ethernet router provides you with. In this case we're speaking about private addresses produced by your router.

If you're tagged in this thread it means you'll need to make a new thread in this section (Dispute a Ban or TWC) to dispute your TWC (Trade With Caution) rank. When you're doing so please ensure you're posting from the IP you believe to be your home IP. If you're uncertain about your home IP being a proxy or anything else you can always use this website to see if you are. In most cases when the "Type:" shows up as "Broadband" and the "Assignment:" shows up as either "Dynamic IP" or "Static IP" we consider your IP as a home IP. There are always exceptions though, such as:

• Your only possibility is to use your mobile internet connection.

In this case we'll request a bill from your mobile providers, make sure the city shown on the bill matches the IP location you're using.

• You're in the army.

Here you'll be asked for similiar proof, such as proof you're actually part of the army. For further evidence you can always send a Personal Message to either @Sun or @TySimpson.

• You live in a dorm.

In this case provide proof of actually living there, you'll have bills from that aswell - just make sure the location stated on your bills matches the location your IP is using.

When you've posted your thread it won't immediately show up as it needs to be approved first as explained in this thread. Once your thread is approved and answered to but requires you to respond to them you can do so by making a new thread and linking to the URL of your previous dispute.

The reason for this security measure is because of the amount of ban evaders (users who've been banned from the website yet still make a new account) on this website. When you are ban evading you're abusing The Official Sythe.org Rules and will be punished for it with a permanent ban and/or a Do Not Trade rank. If you are doing so please Request a Pardon. Make sure to read the sticky threads (threads on top with a different background) first.

Support, I had some clients who had this TWC and had no idea what's wrong with their IP address, new version should sort things out

 

Support, I know you've planned to revamp the whole thread and it's admirable to see you've finished it and I have to admit the product is simple, neat and clear. As someone who has been using this thread often, I'm receiving a lot of private messages asking what their TWCs is about and each and every time, I have to explain in further details instead of simply linking the home IP TWCs thread because it lacks informations. Don't get me wrong though, the original thread had a good run but given how often it's used, I think a restructuration is indeed necessary.
