How active are you on Sythe?

I'm very active, I took a break from Sythe to focus on some software development (which never worked out) and my schoolwork, but as of late I have been very active in the community, IRC, and here and there in the market. I plan to get back into market trading very soon, so my activity will be seriously increasing very soon.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?

Yes, I have a good deal of free time and have no issues verifying multiple guides per day, much less per week.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I feel as if I've been around long enough for members to trust me with their guides. They'll be able to know that I'm trustworthy enough to not leak it, and make the verification of their guides a quick and easy process. I have an above average knowledge of runescape, and have been playing the game for quite some time. I know about merchanting, skilling, combat, transferring gold, and many other in-game activities. There may be other members that have more vouches, or more trading experience, but there aren't members that will act in a more professional manner and make the guide verification process as smooth as I will.

Why do you think you are fit for the position? I'm a college student with extra time that I usually spend on the computer or at the gym. Therefore, I can use my extra time to look at the guides/verify them. I also have a membership in game which can be used for P2P guides.

Anything else we should know about? I'm mainly here for the RS section, meaning all my knowledge is just on RS.

Very Active, If given this job i could be even more active as i will find my self contributing more in sythe which i enjoy doing, 12 hours daily from Monday to Thursday. Less than 6 hours from Friday to Sunday as i have a part time job Fridays and Saturdays so apart from those two days, i am on sythe almost 12 hours a day.

Yes, and i can give priority to this.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
I am active, I am very mature and responsible, I have good communication & Professionalism. I would love to verify guide's for the Sythe community and reduce the risk of members getting scammed in that section. I have a lot of free time and i am sure i will be really helpful. I really like to put time in everything i do here in sythe and get it done right, I can imagine my self as an OGV been really active & giving priority to all the assignments and getting it done. I have 6 Runescape accounts in total, i have almost every stat leveled to 99 when combining all the accounts which i think it's very helpful in this job for the Runescape eBooks section. Conclusion, this job will suit me perfectly, i am Active which means i can get a lot done & definitely review a guide in much less than 24 hours, and my Runescape knowledge is perfect for this job.

I am 21 years old, stopped playing Runescape at age 18, but i still have knowledge about the game as botting does keep me informed and i sometimes get on and play for a little bit. I started playing it in 04. I have never scammed/steal from anyone ever, whether if it's in real life or in game. I want to be part of this community and help in every way possible, and the reputation that i build during my time in sythe, will never have a price.


Nothing has really changed so i have used the same application as last time, Ill just like to add that i enjoy using Sythe, i don't really care about profiting, i find a huge enjoyment doing the normal things a sythe user does. Maybe my profile/record or my join date doesn't show the reputation needed for this job, but someone needs to start somewhere, if given this opportunity, i am sure i won't let sythe down and i am sure that my activity/work will impress sythe. Why do you think you are fit for the position? im on sythe for quite a bit a day just finished up school so i will be on a lot more i already help people in pms of finding mods/OGV for them to have there guides verified along with buying a few if there some intrest to me

I am always available when I am sitting behind my computer, which means I will be available every day for at least a few hours.

Unless I have to verify multiple guides per hour, every hour, I can verify anything Runescape/IRL related, given the circumstances are right.
Why do you think you are fit for the position?
Yes, I believe I am fit for this position. I have spent a fair amount in the guides section when I 'joined' Sythe and had a quite succesful merchanting 'guide' as advertised by my prayer pure.
Anything else we should know about?
I don't think so, I am not one to keep secrets.

How active are you on Sythe?

I have been on sythe.org since the end of July/early August. I average 5 PPD and most all of them are on my sales and purchases. I sell around 1-3 accounts a week and buy maybe 1-3 in a day on a lucky week. I have MM'd 3 trades (but TBT is always on at same time as me so i have been kicked aside). I have opened an Xbox repair shop and I'm also selling my JTAG. I recently went through some personal issues and I turned to the sythe community to help talk me through it (thanks Befriend and DJWeasel). All around I believe I am pretty active and I plan to stay this active.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?

Sure why not, I get on my computer daily and just sit on sythe looking for deals on things.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

Well besides being active I have 32+ vouches, I donated to sythe, I am an Eagle Scout IRL, and I'm in my school's IB program. So I am confident that I have the ability to fill the position.

I enjoy a good laugh as well as making other people laugh... I can provide comic relief.

I literally have the tab up all night from 4-11pm refreshing it anywhere from every 2-30 minutes. This excludes the weekends, in which I'm online 11am to 5pm and from 10pm to midnight. I'm always on here in my free time. Times are U.S. Chicago.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?
Of course. My activity allows me to more than likely finish all tasks daily.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
I feel I am fit for the position for a few reasons. Obviously, my activity is a bonus, however I am always interested with new things as well as making sure credit and profits are given only where deserved. I love guides that actually help, and I'm always looking into whatever ones are posted here. Finally, I've been on RS since 03' and I know as much as I find possible, including bots.

Anything else we should know about?
Yes. Of course, I have a TWC. I feel since it was labeled on me (which can be explained in depth if you've even considered me this long after seeing it) that I am at a disadvantage. At the same time, I've built up 8 solid vouches since it, and I feel that doing something like this is the least I can do for a community that has only changed me for the positive.

I'm usually online on Sythe most hours of the day, though I'm generally doing things I refresh every couple of minutes to take a break or to go afk, read, and sit down with a drink or some snacks.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?
Of course. I'm not going to apply for a position that I cannot fill the requirements for, and I am more the willing to put in a diligent and sustained effort to my 'duties'.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
I feel as though I am fit for the position because I am an active player of the games a lot of the guides are written on, and I'm able to wrap my head around most 'methods' that people put in guides, and am able to verify and rate the guides suitably. I'm actually a fan of guides, and they have helped me out a fair bit. I have purchased a whole lot of them, and am very greatful and happy that the guides I have purchased work, and thank people for being able to say that they work. This is my main motivation, to see that people are purchasing quality guides.

Anything else we should know about?
Not really. Apart from the fact I'm quite an interactive user and I'm always up for a chat, not that this will reflect the position in any way at all, I'm easy to get along with and easy to deal with.

 

Just letting you know Determinate got the Official Guide Verrifier position last time with a TWC.
While a TWC isn't good, it doesn't give you a 0% chance at it.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? Yes, I already know tons of guides and I hate seeing 3 pages on someone's thread saying "need OVG." or saying "once this is verified I will buy."

Why do you think you are fit for the position? I'm usually the first person to buy a guide, I have helped a few people get multiple buyers because of it, I have roughly 2b on rs and I can refund if they get scammed.

I have been on this site for close to 4 years and I know quite a bit about runescape (I've played since mid 04). I have been somewhat involved with buying and selling guides since I started in 2007. How active are you on Sythe?
I post on sythe daily, I am usually quite active from 6:30pm-11pm EST as well as the mornings. I also check sythe between classes. Sythe/IRC runs so much of my life that even when I have a self requested ban, I spend 2hours+ a day on sythe.
Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? Yes, and I understand that if I fail to, I will be removed from the OGV team.
Why do you think you are fit for the position? I would be very dedicated as sythe runs most of my life. On weekends, I spend close to the whole day browsing sythe, and I would love to have a way to give back to the community. I feel that I have become semitrusted within sythe, and I wish to put that trust to good use. As for RS knowledge, I have been playing since 2005 and I am an Item Forumer (which, imo, has some of the most intelligent RSers at its disposal), so I have the resources to answer any of the few RS questions I cannot answer myself.
Anything else we should know about? I often self request bans when I have too much work, but I plan to stop that habit.

Fairly active. I do attend college four days a week and do various other things - I throw in my few hours a day, and at nights mainly (-5 GMT\EST)

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I've been at Sythe since 2008. I know a lot of you probably don't know me, as I've been basically in the RS market section my entire time here. I've done countless trades with about 80+ people and vouches. Although I've also taken a few large breaks from Sythe, I find myself back and forth quite constantly now. I have a vast knowledge of RS, I've played since 2003 and have had over 20+ accounts - a few maxed ones, pures, etc. I know way to much about this game . I'm a very mature and respectable person, not to mention very approachable with any problems any of you may have (RS related, non RS related, whatever it may be). I have no doubt that i'd be a good contributing factor to the team.

I attend college, so my scheduel may be a bit inconsistent - Midterms just passed but obviously school comes before Computer\Sythe\RS. I'm 19, and do have a life outside of Sythe (Yes I know, impossible right ?) - This is not a priority but I will put in my fair share and carry my weight.

Can this also be for verifying ebooks? I think that section needs some verifiers that know about what they verify instead of saying it seems plausible, seems this and that, VERIFIED! If its not please disregard this post.

If its for money making eguides, I'm fit for it because I've actually done most of those methods or have learned about it over a few years. I can easily see if the guide is ripped, an old method with a gimmick "add on", or if it even works; I will try it and actually verify it through experience not by just reading.

I've been making money online since 04 through various methods, lately I've learned enough to spot scams and rips easily. Theres an eguide epidemic here, too many ripped/free eguides being old and profited off when there nothing special added, I can remove this and make the section worthwhile to members.
