Yes, of course. I am a college student, so that being said I think its fair to assume that I have ample amount of time on my hands.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
With my youtube name remaining unsaid, I have written countless guides including money making, skilling, dicing, and various other guides. With over 4 years of guide experience, I think I am more than capable of completing my job to the best of my abilities.

Anything else we should know about?
About a week ago I started a gold selling/buying thread and I now has over 20 vouches and over 4b traded through Sythe. I plan on donating the 27th, when it open up again because I think sythe is an amazing site and I am going to give back what I can. I wish you luck with your judging and hope I can come to a unanimous choice in the end.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? Of course, I love reviewing guides. What people come up with in runescape I've always found interesting. With the old OGV disbanded I've reviewed a few guides for people just for the fun of it.

Why do you think you are fit for the position? My Guide was the longest running verified guide with every customer satisfied with purchase. Would have been a year if section was not taken down.

Anything else we should know about?I've played Runescape since I was in 5th grade, Rubber Chicken. If chosen I will verify as fast and as efficiently as I possibly can. Bio on me: Senior in high school, I obtained my CNA few weeks ago and am doing clinic duties=). Plan to continue schooling to become an anesthesiologist.

How active are you on Sythe?
Everyday!!! I did for awhile take a break from sythe because i took a serious hard hit from a scammer a long time ago, so during that time i was gone i was at work trying to recoup. As of now, i a daily poster and very active, i look in just about every section and though i dont post in them i am always there looking at them. I have been a member of the sythe family since 2007 and signed up 2008, ever since then i have made many great and trust worthy friends on sythe, and i couldnt have asked for more.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?
Yes of course! I love to talk to people and make new friends over the internet. Verifying guides would be a great addition to what i do on sythe. I love to look at peoples work and admire what they have done and how much time they have put into the work, i have always had a "Thing" about reading peoples stuff and giving feedback about the work they have done.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
Well man, there is a million reason why but ill give only the reason i believe that i should be fit for the position. To start off, i believe that getting this position is a way for me to say Thank you to the community and what they have done for me in the years that i have been on sythe. I have been in the workforce (IRL) since i was 8 years old, my parents owned a bunch of business and i was allowed to work for them. I have great management skills and i know what i takes to be a good leader. I have had my fair share of owning business and i know what kind of trust is needed to achieve a such a great position offered by the Sythe Staff. I understand what the sythe staff has to do on a daily basis and what it takes to be a good fellow faculty member.

Anything else we should know about?
I have always been the resonsible type, when i was around 10, i was constantly looking after my family that were younger then me since my parents were always away on business. I have had to watch over my family members alone without help for many many years, i have had to teach myself many different things to help me adapt to things that normal people couldn't. I have not nor do i think will have the normal life that so many others have had. I have had to tend to things that others would believe to be "Maddness" or "Impossible". Maturity, one of my strong points in life. Since my parents were business owners and i had the chance to work for them, i had to grow up in a mature invironment. Inmaturity was not tolerated by my parents. Trustworthy, my greatest and strongest point in life and the sythe community. I have had to deal with people who were trustworthy and the others who were not trustworthy at all. Business is all about trust in my eyes; If there is no trust between business members then there is a bad work invironment, and bad work invironments were also a thing my parents did not tolerate in there business. I had to learn how to tell who was trustworthy and who was not, my parents taught me that one thing that is key in life is Trust. There must be trust between people to be friends and you must be trustworthy to achieve greatness in life. Runescape knowledge, well i have played runescape since RS Classic, and have been a active account/RSGP trader. I have played account after account on runescape and tried just about everything known to mankind in runescape. Well im gonna stop now, because knowing me i could go on forever.

How active are you?

I am quite a lot more active on Sythe from when I last applied for this position. I am usually for 7 hours and am always browsing Sythe during this time. I have a lot more posts when I last applied and my posts per day has completely shot up since the last application process.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?

By applying to be part of the OGV team, I understand that i'll have to spend a fair bit of my time verifying guides. Seeing as though I spend around 6-7 hours on Sythe, I'll be more than willing to verify multiple guides a week. I know what I'm signing up for and I wouldn't mind spending my time verifying quite a few guides a week.
I'll make sure, when verifying guides, that I don't rush into a decision, I'll always take my time and do some research to ensure the guide hasn't been leaked elsewhere. Furthermore, I'll make sure to maintain professional, not just verifying guides because their mates of mine.

I'll be available to verify guides through the day, even if I'm not at my pc or laptop, I can just download the guide and read it, any time, any place.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I firmly believe that I am the best person for the job, if I thought otherwise, I wouldn't have applied. The reason why I'll make a great addition to the OGV team is due to the fact that I have superior runescape knowledge. I've been playing runescape for around 5 years now, gathering a heap of experience. I've also written a few of my own guides and am selling one of the most successful guides on Sythe to date, selling well over 60 copies which not a lot of other people can say. I am also generally quite active in the guides section, looking at all the new threads which have been posted, and as you've noticed, reporting quite a few posts and guides which are against Sythe rules. I am a hard worker and I'll never take my job lightly. I feel I have a lot to offer to this OGV team. I think I work well with others, which is also another reason why I believe I should be chosen as an OGV because verifying guides is a team effort and you mist be able to communicate well with other peers, which I feel I can and do. I think of myself as quite a nice guy, I don't swear at other Sythe users, even if I want to, I don't, which I feel shows maturity and good restraint.

I am active in the runescape market. I am always browsing around the runescape market and I have accumulated 140 Vouches worth over $8000, nearly all of the Vouches coming from the runescape market. This shows that I am trustworthy, which is another quality which you are looking for. I have also been a middle man for a few trades, the biggest being a value of 250m. Me middlemanning a few trades means that other people can trust me, and will feel secure in using me as a middleman.

I also run a website for my dad, which I created myself in OSCommerce. Although this has nothing to do with runescape or Sythe, it shows that I am responsible and that you can always rely on me, no matter what.

Another off Sythe activity that I did was voluntary work. I was doing a work experience placement for 2 weeks. The people who I worked with really liked my personality and work ethic and asked if I could do some extra work, I decided to do another two weeks there. I think work ethic and people liking you are two important assets to have, especially if I'm asked to verify multiple guides.

I would just like to highlight the fact that I have a verified guide, I have sold over 60 copies of this and have earnt a good amount of money just from selling this, roughly $1000 and I believe its one of the most successful guides on Sythe, especially considering the fact I have only been selling the guide for about 2 months. Furthermore, this guide was a strong reason why a IRL guide section was created before the guide section revamp by Finn, my guide being the first and only verified guide in that section.I'm a fast learner which means I can grasp the guide verifying concept very quickly.

One last thing, I will take this job seriously, I've taken the application seriously and tried filling it out to the best of my ability. I'll take the job seriously and i'll put 100% into being an OGV. I understand the things I should keep in mind and agree with them.

I have bought many guides from here, I have tons of Runescape knowledge and experience, and I would love to be able to help the sythe community by sharing this knowledge by verifying guides.

As I said, I post on Sythe multiple times every day, with high quality thought out posts. I know this is not a moderator position or anything, but I am a previous moderator of popular runescape forums (Zybez) which I feel helps demonstrate my character. I am a trustworthy person, I have many vouches (around 30+), and love being involved in the forums that I participate in. I worked for RSU, have been trusted with over 400M stock there. Lastly, I have learned a lot from Sythe and would like the opportunity to be able to return the kindness.

 

How active are you on Sythe?
I joined sythe in 2008, but quit runescape that year, and pretty much lost interest in the forums involving runescape. I have since then started playing the time waster again this year during my spare time. I go on sythe before I set up my botting accounts and browse the forums while my bots run. I try and only make posts here and there where I have enough knowledge to help out.

Are you willing to verify multiple guides a week?
Honestly, being on sythe everyday, we all know there comes a time where you've read every thread in the sections that interest you the most and you get bored. Being an OGV will cure this boredom and give me something else to be involved in, definatly able to verify many many guides a week.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
I believe I am fit for the position due to the fact that I want to help others, I want to contribute more to the sythe community and I have the knowledge, availability, and desire to do so.

Anything else we should know about you?
Im 19 years old, im a great guy with a great girlfriend. I am studying my first year of Electrical Engineering here in Canada, I am unemployed without alot of spare time. I enjoy my life and strive to make the best of it, I believe in helping others and treat people the way I would like to be treated in return.

While "on the clock" as a OGV, I would do what is needed to be done. I have great communication skill, and have a good judgment. I fit all these requirements, though I'm not trusted, as I don't lurk to much within selling things because there are many people who desire scamming. Though I've bought and sold a few things throughout my history here. I've been with RS for a good 6/7 years. I can actually type, and have a sense of knowledge unlike a lot of people within this community. (No offense intended).

I would say I'm very very active. If I'm not on Sythe, I'm on the IRC. I'm always accessible. I'd say I spend about 5 or 6 hours on weekdays, and about 10 - 11 on weekends

Of course, my school load is not much at all at the moment, which means that I'm pretty much free to look at guides ect.​

Why do you think you are fit for the position?​

I started playing RuneScape when I was very young, in about 2003. Since then, even though I had barely started school I started to become really knowledgeable about RuneScape. I achieved over 2100 total legitimately, and have recently started making a new main. This just proves how knowledgeable I am with this game, it's been part of my life for like 7 years. I also consider myself as fairly trusted.​

I have also bought quite a few guides, and read them on other forums. This means that I can know whether a guide has been ripped. I also consider myself quite friendly, and approachable. I think I'm community involved also. Apart from that, not much else really, I guess I'd just like to say good luck to all the other competitors​

- I know that I am liable to refund buyers of faulty guides if the guide that I approve doesn't work. However this should not happen as I will test it out myself carefully.

- Online timings are normally between 1pm to 10pm. Timing is based of GMT+8. Great to work with while people in the UK/US are unavailable.

Has been decreasing recently but is still not insignificant. I definitely have enough time to spare to provide active input and feedback in terms of guide verification.

Yes. Last time we had OGV I participated in the discussion on most every guide which came around. Keeping this up should not present a problem of any particular magnitude.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
Was able to complete the task to an (I would wager) more than acceptable degree of efficiency and activity last time; hence the mention of my prior experiences is relevant here.

Though in self-evaluation there is always a certain degree of bias and flaw, I feel that of the mentioned qualities being sought all apply to me. I had parially elaborated on this fact in my previous application (which I had PM'd to both Karl and Plznate, but sadly not saved).

I have nothing else to mention about myself, but was wondering who would be leading OGV this time around? I assume you will not be working on your own, Karl?

 

Seeing as how RsProd no longer has the perms, I would assume either Scottay or KeroKeroCola would help Karl lead the section, but that's just a hunch
