Why do you think you are fit for the position?
Because I am a long-term runescape player and know a lot about glitches, merching, scams etc... So I will be able to test guides quickly and verify them fast an efficiently since I feel I would have the skills in runescape to verify almost any guide.

Anything else we should know about?
I know I am fairly new to sythe, but I would like to try my best to help out the community here. I have been a runescape player since '02 so verifying anything to do with runescape comes easy to me.

I saw the announcement and saw an opportunity to help out the community, it is something i have been wanting to do for a long time but have never had to opportunity to. I am a 19 year old from Australian, i am known around my town as a person that wants to give with nothing in return. I am always told how mature i am for my age which i guess is a good thing apart from being mistaken as a 25year old!

How active are you on Sythe? To be honest i have been a bit of a lurker over the past few months but i have started posting again. This job will make me more active then i am at the moment

Why do you think you are fit for the position? Well i have been in this community since 2006 (before the hack) and want to give back to the community! I am a well respected member of the community which is trusted by many.

Anything else we should know about? I guess you could say i am more suitable to the job. I have been in this community for a long time and have played just as long if not longer, my runescape knowledge is quite good compared to others. I have seen it all, i have bought my fair share of guides back in the day and know what to look for. I Look forward to hearing back from you guys

How active are you on Sythe?

I am extremely active on sythe; I am on the runescape general forums most of the day from monday to sunday. The only time I shall not be on are times such as christmas ect when I want to spend time with my family and friends to celebrate such occasions.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?

Of course; when ever a guide is requested to be verified I shall be on the job as fast as possible, as for multiple guides a week, I will be more than willing to verify multiple guides a week. Reason being: I really like the community, even though I have not been in it for a long period of time- I would like to give something back in return and the other reason is I would hate the guide section to become a scam section; people being scammed left, right and center wouldn't look good for sythe.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I think I would be fit for the position as I am very mature and deal with situations accordingly; not just to troll and be an arse about being a OGV I would infact look at the guide and if I see something wrong or inappropriate; not just a complete mess then I may talk to the guides creator and ask him to make changes, if he then declines and keeps the guide as it is I shall take further action.

Anything else we should know about?

I think I have covered most of what there is to say in the form however I would like to add that I am on sythe for my own enjoyment and don't really go on the markets much; I just stay around Runescape general area of the forums. I would like this position to show how hard-working and mature I am and also to help out the sythe community and make changes to the guides where necessary to keep up sythes reputation and for the good of it's people.

Yes, I am out of work for at least 6 months, so I guess I have the time.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I have myself written a few eBooks, I have been playing Runescape from 2003-2011. Hence you could say I am a Veteran; I have been through it all. By day I am a Internet Marketer, been IM for a couple years now so you could say I have a General knowledge of the Internet and its content.

I am new to Sythe and understand that my chance of being approved is bleak, but I will be an Active Member for a long time to come, God forbid.

Well ive played runescape years, and i am fedup with people trying to scam others with fake quides. I also like seeing how people do certain stuff (ways others might not play the game)

Ive been active for nearly 10 years on runescape on a few accounts. Im legit ive had a few big sales / and a few big buys.

Anything else we should know about? I want to help with verifying because I don't feel it as work, i feel it as a pleasant responsibility for the community that helped me so much so far

I'll verify as many as I am able to, within reason.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
During my relatively short stay here at Sythe, I have made it my mission to extend my hand to anyone who can use my assistance. The vast majority of my post count has come from the Technology and Support sections with the objective of helping anyone that I possibly can. I've troubleshooted countless problems and put tons and tons of hours into helping people with things like building custom PCs. I have written a couple of guides myself, which (not to be cocky ) I believe to be fairly well written. I know what goes into making a good guide and I have the knowledge about RuneScape to help test/verify the guides.

Anything else we should know about?
I would like to add that although I am not particularly trusted, this does not mean I am not worthy of trust. Given a responsibility such as this, I would do my very best; let there be no doubt about that. I am not in this for the position, or even for the "free" guides, as I am not an active RuneScape player. I just like helping .

• I joined Sythe in November of 2008. Since then, I have made over a thousand posts, and have obtained over seventy vouches for being a middle man, selling RSGP, and various other transactions. I have been more active on Sythe as of recently, since I haven't had time previously. Each day I browse the various forums of Sythe for anywhere from two to five hours. I enjoy being active in the community and helping people as much as possible, as well as making purchases and sales. Being a member of Sythe for nearly three years, I have grown interested in becoming more involved in the community and playing a bigger role than I currently do.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?

• As an Official Guide Verifier, I would have no problem with verifying as many guides per week as is necessary. Rather than just reading over the guides, I will take the time to verify the methods and conduct the proper amounts of research to make sure the guides are legitimate. I am fully willing to do this with any type of guide, whether it is a money making guide, skilling guide, or some other form of guide.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

• I believe that I am fit for this position because I feel as though I could fill the position to its full capacity. I have been actively playing Runescape since 2004, and have a broad knowledge of the various items, areas, and locations. As I stated previously, I've had more free time recently, allowing me to become more active in the Sythe community, so I will be available whenever necessary. I have been trusted with large amounts of RSGP as a middle man for well-respected members and have sold large amounts of money going first. I have previous experience as an Official Guide Verifier on another forum, as well, which I feel gives me a better grasp of what the position calls for. I have a format from my previous position that I can follow, unless the OGV requires a specific format, in which case I am more than willing to toss my format to the side. Below I have posted what the aforementioned format looks like to eliminate any curiosity.

• I would undoubtedly ensure that all guides are working correctly and that every person who purchases a guide will be getting their money's worth. As I mentioned earlier, I will test each and every method to ensure the quality and legitimacy of the guides. I have purchased many guides in the past, only to find out that the method is completely null and void or is not successful. My Runescape account is level 134, so testing out each method should not be any issue at all. If I am chosen, I will take this position seriously and will do everything in my power to keep the guide section cleaned up and make sure that the guides I have tested do not go unwatched. I will also follow up with each guide I verify several weeks later, just to make sure the methods posted in each section work correctly.

This is the basic format I used for reviewing guides in my previous position(Not Sythe); however, I generally posted images with the guide to give potential buyers a visual look at it without exposing any of the guide itself.

With less financial aid this year, I can only take online courses. That leaves about five hours a day out of a twelve hour schedule. This means that I spend anywhere from one to five hours on Sythe. If you take a look at my current activity you can see that I spend a reasonable amount of time, however, my activity would, upon promotion, be exorbitant. I have also been a contributing member of this community for almost five years, so I you do not have to worry about the possibility of my departure.

• Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?
My schedule is extremely flexible and I have a superfluous amount of time so I am able to direct my full attention whilst reviewing guides. So in short, yes, I am able and willing to verify multiple guides a week.

• Why do you think you are fit for the position?
This position has a bewildering array of benefits. I need to improve my sentence structure and grammar for my composition course, so this is a splendid opportunity to practice and touch up on both. I also have extensive knowledge with the game Runescape and World Of Warcraft, so I am able to review guides that pertain to both. In addition to the first point, I am able to produce a very organized and professional guide with useful information to give the buyers a good grip on what they are purchasing. This is extremely useful for both the customer and the sales-person.

• Anything else we should know about?
With a Runescape oriented background I possess full knowledge and capability of executing most, if not every task that a guide might call for. If I do not possess the ability to do a certain activity, I can simply pass the guide to another member of the OGV team. All guide reviews will be saved and stored on my computer and an external drive. What this does is it allows me to go back and check similarities between older guides, and if such a guide already exists without having to dig through pages of threads.

Currently I am only here to sell GP , but I have been looking around the forums and will have no problem becoming more active If I need to. I get on everyday just don't have as many posts.

I don't think It will take that long to verify a guide. I can do as many as I have to.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I am fit for the position because I have experience with RS and Rs Communities for about six years, and I am I very helpful person. I also have the ability to get things done and get them done right. You will never have an problems with me because I am a very friendly person.

I don't aim to impress, just help out here and there because of the abundance of free time on my hands. I have not violated any rules (-Spamming, Signature Size) on here since I joined in 2010. I feel like I have not contributed as much as I should have to the community that I have spent most of my time lately in and would like to have a chance to help out.

Recently started being quite active, I'm on Sythe more than Runescape now.

Yes I am currently not doing anything and just travelling around a bit, so I have a fair bit of time.
Why do you think you are fit for the position?
Well I've been playing Runescape since 2003 and been a part of the cheating community since 07. I've been around and seen and done a lot of the things people sell as guides and have become quite accustomed to testing them.
Anything else we should know about?
I have an infinite curiosity and have a thirsty for knowledge. I'm really looking forward to this as a potential learning experience and giving back to the community.​

I am rather active, about 2-3 times a day, and upto 1 hour a day.

Yes i am, i have released my own guides to contribute for the community, and this seems alike a chance, i cannot pass to contribute even further.


Why do you think you are fit for the position?
I believe i am suitable, for this position, as i am fitting all of the requirements, as well as being a friendly human being, and rather active within the community.

Also, i have been playing Runescape since 2001, and therefor have a decent knowledge about Runescape, and should be able to test nearby 99% of the guides, with my current account, if necessary.


Anything else we should know about?
At the moment, i am not alot online between 8.10-14.45 GMT+1, tho i am able to look throught the actual guide, and test it once i get home.
As i am, under education as Data Technical with speciality in Programmering, wich also means ability to access internet pretty much 24/7, to look up Sythe.

Also, as i am a *newcommer* to Sythes market, i havent had the chance to gain alot of vouches, tho trustworthy is not only vouches.

How i will rate guides
