Alternatives To Democracy

If we try to look at the forms of government that are in use today, what options are available?

Saudi Arabia: Monarchy, a hereditary elite boards.

China: meritocracy, an enlightened elite recruited from among the best boards.

Iran: theocracy, those who are able to interpret / manage the message boards.

Norway: Social Democracy

Are there others?

Socialism? Is there any country that practices socialism?

Military Dictatorship? It must go under the same as meritocracy, the best officers is to lead and the best of the best ends to lead the country. As in officers are often miserable in the government land, but it is on the side of the theme I take up the thread.

 

Anarchy.
Transitional - Libya will be a good example of this.
Totalitarian state.
Revolutionary Government - Libya will be a good example of this.
Republic - which is incorporated by Democracy.
Federal governments - Australia/America's system of government incorporates this.

Not sure if these 2 are used however:

Libertarianism.
Anarcho - Capitalist.
