hello all
While browsing the "Community General" thread over the past couple of weeks, I noticed that most of the threads are the same ones as the day/week/or even months before.
Suggestion: add a drop down menu to allow users to select
"Most popular this week/day"
"Newest" (listing the newest threads created so that new threads don't get lost by the more popular threads)
"Most popular of all time"
Etc, etc.
I believe THE MOST IMPORTANT of any of these is "newest" , or at least an option to filter out those threads with 5+ pages, and allow for the most recently created threads to be seen first
*yes, new threads appear at the top, but if they don't gain any traction within a day/two, they can easily become lost..
This will allow users to see new threads without having to look at the date it was created and figure out which ones are old and have Zero comments, and which ones are new and have zero comments.
I hope you all can see how this can be useful. Seems like there's a good bit of threads that are acting almost like "stickies" and filling up most of the forums.
(Reddit had a similar layout allowing you to choose "hot", "newest", etc.)
