[DENIED] Market filter

Pros:
It would allow people to see threads with more posts, which may be more reassuring for customers.

Cons:
It would gravedig threads

That's really all I get from it. I like the idea, don't get me wrong, but it'd be better to have a rating system on threads and then they can be classified based off of good and bad ratings. Even that's a stretch, though.

 

The most recent threads would be shown. I don’t think gravedigging would be an issue.

 

I want to apologize. I didn't really read it right - I did not know that users will be able to toggle any one they wanted. Frankly, I don't know what I thought.

I support the idea of being able to filter threads, but I’m confused on the logic behind this:

If the newest threads are always shown first regardless of the filter then how would the filters mentioned above be shown in order from old to new/most to least?

 

I think this is a smart idea, let’s see if we can all come together & make this happen

 

Because you can toggle them , no?

 

I understand that if you toggled ‘post count’ for example: it would list the posts from highest post count to lowest.


But he stated that the newest thread would always be shown first regardless of the filter, which would mean it wouldn’t be the newest shown first, it would be the posts with the highest post count.

Regardless I support the filters

 

support as with this, we can filter out thread we don't wanna see.

This is a free market, and filtering users out because they do not have requirements would really take a toll on new users, and a lot of other users trying to build a reputation, ETC.
