Addicted to Runescape

Yes my first 2 years of playing or so I was extremely addicted. I would wake up early to play and would stay up late tell I couldnt open my eyes. My parents took away my computer and after a few months gave it back and only let me use it an hour per day. Now i hardly ever play and really cant think of anything to do when I log on. I guess I just grew out of it.

- I used to play this game 8-10 hours a day on my free time from 14-17.
- I don't regret it, all though it did interfere with me meeting and networking with new people, further expanding my social circle. In fact I enjoyed spending all day on Runescape back in the day, the game was extremely fun and appealing.

In concern towards the game now, it's a peice of shit, the economy, community, and value of the game is gone, i don't expect anyone who started playing from 2008+ to understand where I'm coming from. The game is being milked of every dollar, the people in charge are pathetic and don't even know what the community wants, rather what they want which hasn't worked so far. The adverts, add-ons and media is cringe worthy and spells desperation all over it.

Iv'e played this game since 2000, and have steadily enjoyed it my whole life untill 2008, after that the game took to much of a hit and sailed the boat away, came back in 2010 and coped with the changed, enjoyed it but not as much as I used to. Come today, the game is wiped out, its terrible and sad to watch a game I once loved being torn away from me.

1) I was addicted to RS for a long time.. I started in like 2003 and played it like 12 hours+ a day and got pissed when ever someone wanted to use the PC or if i was told to get off. I paid less attention in school, It made my grade go down a lot which i really regret.. It made my eye sight pretty bad also which makes me wish i never Played this game or even heard of it. Once 2007 rolled around i started playing this game more less to just weekend's got more involved in school started hanging out with friends alot more. Then 2009 comes around and i graduated High School. Sold all of my accounts and cash made around $500 total and then quit this game. Came back in early 2011 and started to bot making some cash and still botting on 1-2 accounts today. Which is no longer bad.

2) as you can see from above it was kinda bad lol..

3) Where am i now? 2012 roles around and i enlisted in the Army and leaving for boot camp Feb 2013 and gonna leave this game behind me and start a great career and plan on making some baby's along the way. And at some point will be going to college for Criminal Justice.

-Are you / have you been addicted to Runescape ? Runescape is shit, the only reason I still play is to get max cape and get a sense of achievement of beating the game before i quit. around 2 years ago i was addicted for sure, ever momeent i wasn't working out or in school i as on RS.
- How bad was it ? used to be pretty bad, cause problems with family and 2 girlfriends to be come ex girlfriends. played a good 8 hrs a day or more :/
- Where are you now ? Once I max/comp, I'm gone, and will be a happier person for it.

I was, and I still play rather a lot

Very, it got to the stage where I set my iPhone up to play in lesson. :/

I've been playing 20-30 hours a week, but since I've been doing my exams this past week and a half, I've not logged on to play.
