It can't be judged evenly against Halo, Halo is set in the future, Resistance is set in 1900s. Halo you jump 50 feet in the air, Resistance you jump about knee to hip height. It was never meant to beat Halo when it is set in a different league, if you want a game that can beat Halo for PS3, then look at Unreal Tournment 3.

The box art tells me that I shouldn't expect this game to be all about quality. BUT, I'm not going to judge a game by its cover, so I'll give you that one.
That puts the PS3 up to one game, once every 320 days, but 320 is still more than 75.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a remake of an old Xbox game.

My point was, all that stuff you just stated, would've been an update on a PS3 for about $5. Therefore there would be no need to bring out another 2 games. Like people think theres going to be a Resistance 2, i doubt that, if there is a Resistance 2, it'll probably play on the same online server since the online mode wouldn't differ. New maps? well they'd bring out a map pack 2, we already have one map pack. New weapons? A weapon pack would be brought out.

MMORPG is just an multiplayer online RPG, it is not incorrect to call it an RPG. Your right about the RTS, i just remembered that all the other games are not RTS because you take turns, in RTS games its about speed not turns, but hey, atleast i can admit i am wrong on things.

I thought Halo 1 sucked too, so its a remake of a shit game, not a good game, and a remake of a shit game is a shit game unless it comes out with something completely different. Oh playstation wins? What else is there to discuss? Well theres one, whats the difference between xbox live and ps3 online? If playstation had halo, but xbox didn't, i don't think there would be a 2 and 3. But it would get upgrades to make the halo 1 even to halo 3 today, you'd really have to fully understand the playstation store to get that.

Take for example:

Motorstorm - We thought of new vehicles, tracks AND racing modes, lets make a motorstorm 2? NO, lets give the racing mode to our players for free and let them download the vehicles for $4 and the tracks for $6.

Resistance - We made new maps, lets make a Resistance 2? NO, lets sell the maps for $9.95

Ninja Gaiden - We've got a whole new mission mode and weapons, wanna make a Ninja Gaiden untold legends like dynasty warriors 5 untold legends? NO just put the update on the ps3 store, $6.

Thats just 3 games, there are many MANY more upgrades for almost all PS3 games, and ofcourse theres more updates to come thats why they are named such things like "R:FoM Map Pack 1" if its number 1 then clearly they plan to make a "R:FoM Map Pack 2". The PSN has a looong way to go but I highly doubt that it will 'bomb' and no one will be using it. It may never reach the standard of XBL, but it will still provide a decent experience.

Also i read up on this xbox 1080p and yes it plays games in 1080p but it doesn't play DVDs in 1080p.
If your including xbox elite, shall i include ps4? Or doesn't that count? Your looking at the upgraded xbox, if you look at the upgraded ps3 which would must likely be a ps4 then i bet it'd beat your xbox elite. The title specifically says "xbox360 vs ps3" not xbox360 and elite or whatever. Anyway, if you want a cheaper ps3, buy the 40gb one, still owns an xbox 360 and about $200 cheaper than the 60gb. My friend says theres also a 20gb one coming out that'll be cheaper still but that remains unknown i think.

As long as we're counting PS4 as nothing more than an upgraded PS3, it makes just as much sense to count PS3 as an upgraded PS2, which makes just as much sense to count as an upgraded PS1.
So now it's either "PS3 vs Xbox 360 Elite" in which case I've already clearly shown that Xbox 360 Elite wins, or "PS1 vs Xbox 360" in which case I already know what you're going to say assuming you don't blow me off or make an even dumber rebuttal: "If your going back to PS1 you have to go back too Xbox 1." If you do tell me that what I just predicted you to say is true, then please atleast know that you're tacking a ridiculous, irrelevant non sequitur on top of another ridiculous, irrelevant non sequitur.
If my predictions are wrong: I'm not sure how good PS1's game library is, but you've already reached the conclusion that games can't be counted, and 360 clearly has better system specs.
If my predictions are right: We're now at "PS1 vs Xbox". Xbox has Halo. I mean C'mon, can PS1 really beat Halo?

Elite IS Xbox 360; that's why it's called Xbox 360 Elite. The only thing Playstation 4 could be an upgrade of is Playstation, and we know that's not what it's going to be.

if you want a cheaper ps3, buy the 40gb one, still owns an xbox 360 and about $200 cheaper than the 60gb. My friend says theres also a 20gb one coming out that'll be cheaper still but that remains unknown i think.

Actually, the 20GB PS3 already exists, and is still more expensive than the Xbox 360 Elite, which itself is more expensive than the normal Xbox 360.

Xbox live to me is crap, you download something and its that account specific, you have to be on that account to use it.

In my opinion the PS3 is more bang for your buck. In a couple months, or by next summer Maximum it will be a great games console too.

All the PS3 models now come with free broadband access/wifi or however you call it. On the 360 you have to buy an adapter or something like that. With an update that came out, the PS3 now upscales old ps1-ps2 games to full 1080p along with normal dvd's to 1080p! So it doubles as a blu-ray player and a dvd upscaler!

It has an internet browser, all that stuff and probably in a couple updates it will have In-game XMB making it just like Live and all that.

Right now the 360 has great games while the PS3 only has good games/ a couple great games. But by christmas, or at the latest, summer it will be chock full of AAA games.

Upon looking over the thread, I saw just how apparent it was that you didn't like these disagreeers. Someone says 360 is better and you ask why; someone says PS3 is better and you thank them for their input.

Then, 3 pages in, something happened to your thread. Someone capable of ripping your arguments to shreds came along.

For these last 3 pages, we've going back and forth with quotes. You say some stupid shit, I rip it apart. You defend my Strawmen, I rip your defense apart.
