Fast food

With all the recent information we have learned in last 20 years on nutrition and what food does/doesn’t do to our bodies.
With new beliefs/enhanced popularity of beliefs (Vegan, pescatarian, vegetarian, Atkins, Gluten free etc)
What are your individual opinions of Fast Food?
Do you eat it?
Which do you each?
Do you abstain?

 

I eat fast food occasionally, and I am more than well aware of the 'harmful effects' that reside amongst consuming it. However (dot dot dot), I firmly believe (especially as a fitness enthusiast) that everything is okay in moderation.

I abstain from WackDonald's for sure, simply because any and everything there makes my stomach hurt which says my body doesn't agree with it.

When I'm in the mood to eat fast food, I'd commonly eat BK, Taco Bell, or Wendy's.

 

I eat fast food every Friday, sometimes more than once in a week. I think if you don't eat fast food very usually it's not even bad thing. When I eat fast food I usually go to McDonalds, Subway or Burger King. And why do I eat it? Umm... It's usually pretty tasty lol

 

Tbh i was eating fast food for probably more then 15 days out of the month until i calculated to what i spending on that month on just shitty fast food.

 

Whilst I was at university, Fast food was defiantly the #1 option to go for. This made me more lazy of wanting to cook a dinner and go shopping, to just ordering fast food on a daily basis.

Overall the cost was horrific and after that I havnt ordered fast food since. Sometimes you just need to cook a nice healthy meal for yourself.

 

Have it every once and a while. Try to limit myself on it because I always feel like shit after eating it. I do believe eating too much is bad for you however were all going to die one day. If you want to eat fast food then eat fast food.

 

i always think of it this way im im going to spend 10$ on a meal that i have to cook i mise well go buy a big mac meal DD

 

I do eat fast food but I limit myself to once a month.

 

I do not like most fast food joints. Wendy's would be one of the exceptions to this haha.

 

I literally eat mcdonalds, tims, wendys on a daily basis.... for the past 4 years since I started lifting nothing wrong with me.

Why every Friday?

Yeah, the price can stack up pretty quickly.

Home cooked meals are amazing, especially when eating out becomes habitual.

We’re all going to die, yes; but I think “Quality” of life comes into play when we talk about our food intake.

I do like Taco Bell too!

 

Honestly never had a taco bell... but i normally eat take away once a week depends how tired i am if i can be bothered to cook or not.

There's been an astounding amount of information that has come out in the last 50 years regarding diet and it's importance in your health. I choose to ignore that. I'd rather die younger and not worry.

Five Guys is where it's at for me. They have these burgers that are just to die for. Juicy, cooked right in front of you from raw, any toppings you want. It's a shame that here in the UK it's rather more expensive than in the US. I think in the states it's $5-$6 for a burger, here with the conversion it's nearly $11~

 

I eat "fast food" all the fking time now. Before I attended school I'd eat fast food maybe once a year. I found it gross how unhealthy it was. It's funny how your perspective can change out of necessity.

Once I graduate I plan to go back to my old lifestyle of never eating fast food, but till then I don't have much alternative.

Convenience plays a major key on mine and my families fast food intake for sure. Running a business & trying to keep up with our daily lives with two kids is definitely challenging as far as “Time” goes.
So we fall to the convenience of fast food frequently.

 

I eat Chinese once every few weeks and order a Papa John's pizza. I only order the Chinese because I love Seitan and I can't make it properly.
